I stopped in here for lunch on their first day open and I was thrilled by the experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. The place is full of light with great artwork on the walls and an open, inviting feel. The beer tap menu is fantastic with a wide variety of styles of both foreign and domestic beers.

Lovely experience! Decor was impressive and inviting. Bartender was knowledgeable and helpful. Beer was served in proper glass. Cocktail was tasty and beautiful. Outstanding fries and beef tartare. Only wish we lived closer.

We saw the new opening sign and decided to try it out. Starters are delicious, especially the mussels. Burgers are underwhelming for the price point. Overall nice atmosphere and good place for walk-in without reservations.

Stopped in for Brunch. New design is fantastic. Open, welcoming atmosphere that felt classy yet comfortable. They did a great job of freshening the place up while keeping it cozy and familiar for those that used to frequent Brasserie V.

So glad to have this new neighborhood bistro on Monroe. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere. We had the shrimp roll, burger, trout, and key lime pie. All were tasty. Server was very friendly. Good business hours. Only complaint is wines by the glass are a little pricey for the price points on the food menu. This seems like a solid place where you could become a regular.

Visited One & Only on day 5 of being open and was impressed by the clean, contemporary decor and delicious food. They had a lot of interesting, local offerings for food and a great draft list. A bit on the pricier side, but the food didn’t disappoint. We ordered the pork chops and the evening special for tonight which was a mussel pasta with lardon. The cacio e pepe polenta that came with the pork chops was the star of that plate. The pasta was hand made and the sauce was delicious! Rich flavor and the portion size wasn’t overwhelming. The service was quick and the wait staff was knowledgeable and courteous. They do offer happy hour 3-5 and have discount on their house wine and $2 oysters. They’re still working out the kinks of being a new restaurant, but I’d definitely stop in and give it a try!

Review based on their soft opening – as soon as you walk through the door you’re greeted with a well lit and spacious host area, an attentive wait staff to greet you, and a beautifuly inviting bar. Noise levels were that perfect constant drone – low enough to easily chat but loud enough that you’re not overheard. Aesthetic is fantastic – from wall decor to bar fixtures, everything is coherent and attractive. Great cocktail menu, easy to navigate food menu (and an informative server if need be), and surprisingly top tier food items considering the price.

The brunch menu is small and really not very brunch-like; it seemed as if they took a lunch menu and added a fried egg to each dish. One of two ‘sweet’ options – a dutch baby – was flat and dull, with no maple syrup, no whipped cream, no berries – just a slice of lemon.The star of the show was the homemade biscuits in the Egg’s Benedict offering; delicous!

Following Brasserie V, One and Only supplies the neighborhood on approachable American fare. Stephen, the bartender, provided a really good NA drink. The beef tartare was flavorful. My only criticism was the bread is really chewy. The trout entree was delicious and ended with an AMAZING key lime pie!
