This place was amazing ! Food was absolutely delicious—probably the best vegan takeaway food we had on our entire trip. Sooo many good options to choose from. Service was great and they have excellent range of kombucha.

I always love going to 100% vegan places. The portions here are quite large, but this is rather welcome as it’s a tad pricey for what it is.

Fala Bar is a great stopping place to grab a bite to eat, especially if you’re with a group of people who aren’t all vegan. They’re set up in a shared space with about half a dozen other food options (and a couple bars) and are walking distance to a handful of cool spots in Santa Barbara, making it perfect for those visiting the area and looking for a quick lunch. The food was good, they had a decent amount of unique Mediterranean / falafel inspired options, and their chili sauce actually had some spice to it which was nice. While I enjoyed my meal and was full after, the $20+ after tax and tip per person was a little steep for what we got. Ultimately, I’ll probably be back here again, but I won’t be making any long distance special trips just for it.

We got the southwest burger and it was really tasty! They gave us some extra bbq sauce and it definitely benefitted from it, but the cabbage and the falafel and the pickles were a great combo. We also got the sweet potato fries, and they were good, but definitely not your classic deep fried fries. Really good with the hummus, though!

The service staff could not take our orders right.. and $18 for a veggie burger, and no fries?? Small flimsy paper bowl, the falafel sandwich fell down before I could touch it.. insufferable staff, she was like doing me a favor by taking my order..

The kale burger and spicy sauce were AMAZING! Not too kale-y, and very filling. The employees were super friendly and service was awesome, I’m looking forward to coming back here!

The sweet potato falafels were a disappointment. Kale sandwich is so very good! Vegan and sustainable packaging. Win win! The dipping sauces are weird tho.. disappointing.
