The moment I tasted their gumbo, I fell in love ❤️. Their wings are the perfect size, and they are always cooked to perfection . Parking can be difficulty getting in from the street, but they have more than sufficient parking spaces around the building. Don’t go during their peek times if you’re starving because that’s when everyone goes too, lol. They take their time to cook their food, but it is definitely worth it.

On this visit, I went to purchase a catfish dinner. Like always, before I order catfish at any restaurant, I ask if the catfish is American farm-raised or Asian (basa). The cashier assured me that it was American farm-raised and also pointed to the posted sign on the wall stating that. She lied! When I got home, it was the flat fried Asian and not the meaty American catfish. These people are breaking the law by false advertising their catfish. So if you are a catfish lover, DO NOT purchase it here. It is “fake,” but they are charging “catfish prices” for cheap Asian (basa) fish!!!

Food is not as good as it used to be last year. I’m not sure if they changed cooks but last year in the summer I used to come almost every other day for the salmon, rice, and broccoli. Towards the end of last year they began cooking the salmon hard. The salmon used to be very tender, moist, and seasoned perfectly. Now it is hard and dry. The rice is bland and sometimes hard. The broccoli is sometimes hard as well. Whoever is cooking in the back is honestly not doing their best job on the salmon. Ever since I received dry salmon I’ve eaten here about 4 more times and now it’s hard and dry everytime. I just ate here today and that prompted me to write this review. I no longer enjoy eating here.

I like to get fresh cooked fish and other food that they prepare like the alligator. My kids thought the alligator nuggets were chicken nuggets. That’s how well they were cooked.

Always good food. Normally get fish dinner, but wanted chicken wings. I got the lemon pepper wet and dry… its good. The fries need seasoning, but the food is still good.
