First time trying a sushi place such as this and honestly my first experience wasn’t horrible. When looking at the menu they was a whole side dedicated to vegetarian but not so much for the vegans. Once I asked the employee which items could be substituted or changed into a vegan meal he was a bit negligent on how certain dishes were prepared. I’m not saying he’s the chef and need to know everything but at least the basic what’s gluten free , vegan or vegetarian is a simple task and him not knowing put me a bit on edge . Nonetheless I decided to try “Tiger Roll” which consisted of items such as Crispy tofu, baked sweet potatoes, avocado, sweet potato chips on top, rolled in soy paper and it was phenomenal !!! The crispy tofu gave me the texture of almost crispy chicken which was ironic the addition of the soy sauce and teriyaki sauce was such a amazing fusion of flavors. I also had the spring rolls which were pretty good as well . Lastly was the tofu miso soup and that was subpar , I wasn’t too much of a fan but overall everything else was amazing.

By far the best economic sushi spot I have tried in sfl. Love that they are so creative with their Sushi’s. Sushi can be pretty boring same ingredients on every other item , but here you have endless of options. There is a Spanish influence so that makes them even more appetizing. Never have I been disappointed. The serve good size portions to eat 3 times. Tried their Tempura Ice cream today and by the picture you can tell it was a hit even with my husband who did not want any and looked at me crazy when the big portion came and wondered who was going to eat it all. Highly recommend them. I’ve even traveled from Sunrise to eat here. Don’t think about it , run to Sushi Runner. And did I mention they have 20% and or buy 2 sushi get one free discount for dine in.

Great pricing for good sushi. Short wait time and the deal on Thursday makes it so much more affordable. Only complaint I have is too much sauce on the sushi. Otherwise, everything was great and delicious

Not only is it great food, they also don’t skimp on portion, freshness & flavor. We had the Chicken Teriyaki with the best noodles we’ve ever had, ate a lot because its so good and I still have some for tomorrow’s lunch. Fast, friendly service. 10 stars ☆

Been ordering from this location for years. Tonight we found two pieces of plastic in our Caribbean roll. I don’t want a refund just what a bit more of quality control. Pretty sure I ate a piece or two as well. I will not be ordering from Sushi Runner again!

Been ordering few times from this place and I don’t have any complaints. The sushi is sooo good!!! We always take advantage of the special that they have to buy two and get one free. We ordered directly from their website and the delivery gets here in about an hour or so. I do recommend Sushi Runner you won’t be disappointed and at the same time you will satisfy your Japanese cravings.
