The best experience I’ve had at a Pollo Loco. The employees were very kind to me. As soon as I walked through the door, they had big smiles on their faces and were very friendly. The food tasted great and the workers got my food out very fast. The place was also very clean. None of the tables or chairs had any leftover food or any drink residue. The place is trashed and all the tables are filthy. The hall way to the bathroom is trashed and the bathroom is trashed along with smears on the walls and toilets and gang graffiti. I ordered mac n cheese but didn’t get a spoon or fork and when I asked for I received an attitude along with irritated look. I felt unwelcome since even though i asked for dine I got a to go order and then had to asked for my drink. The cashier speaks very very low . The food was disgusting gristly chicken and burnt. I won’t dine in next time for sure. Or even come here ever.

We ordered a 4 piece meal and when we got home we realized there were only 2 pieces of chicken instead of 4. So we drove 10 minutes back to el pollo loco and Maria went above and beyond to correct the mistake of her coworker! She gave us 3 pieces of chicken instead of 2 and also upgraded our sides to a large all with no added charge. She was very understanding and patient and she should definitely get a raise or be the next manager if she isn’t already!!

The one Star means zero stars for this trash place. Horrible customers service by cashiers with a face like they don’t wanna be there, the burritos half the size now for $12 no meat at all. And on top of that they charge for the salsa . Wow !! I hope the owners see this even though I know they never make any changes. Trashy greedy people . you know exactly who u are .

Burritos used to be a good decent size idk if it’s due to inflation & capitalism but they been slacking. Not only are the burritos smaller but portion size of meat is bad, I got more lettuce than meat! Might as well hit up the taco stands instead of buying at Pollo Loco..
