We were there with our family. Ordered medium rare steaks and food came just how we like them. Buns were homemade. Wish we had room for the homemade pie.

I will never go back. I had ribs and brisket combo. The food, not good. Ribs sucked dry, brisket sucked, and don’t get me started on the portions. 2 pork Ribs and 2 slices of brisket that I couldn’t even finish. My buddy got the chicken fried steak, dinner mind you. It was So small it wouldn’t of made a good breakfast sandwich. Needless to say, I can not recommend this establishment. AT ALL

Fries were good. The sliced beef on fry bread… Not so good. However the Carmel apple pecan pie was amazing.

Recently did some remodeling and the restaurant now looks very clean and fresh. Food was very good this time. Our server was great and very attentive to my 91 year old mother. They could use more servers.

They’re trying, so give them credit for that. The servers were friendly and attentive, the food was at least OK. The $32 ribeye was skinny and unevenly cooked, but it tasted good, had a nice char and was free of gristle. The brisket was OK, but I didn’t pick up much smoke flavor, which I crave. Also, the ribeye came with green beans, which clearly looked to have come from a giant food service can, like something you’d get at an army mess. The main dining room was way too loud, all hard surfaces. And the booth benches were basically outhouse benches without the holes. My butt hurting before we finished dinner. Seat cushions, please! I would go back, although without any sense of urgency, and most likely to try the ribs.. Bottom line: don’t let this review keep you away.

The most authentic of everything. Handmade. Fresh. Generous portions. A little pricey but the staff are fabulous too so worth it.

We usually stop in here when I visit my family in the area. The staff is always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The food never disappoints. This time around, I had The Belt Buster. Its a chicken fried steak sandwich, with texas toast. It had great flavor, came with a side of white gravy and fries. They aren’t kidding when they call it the belt buster, it will fill you up. I was so full I didn’t have a chance to try a slice of pie. Which they had multiple flavors to choose from. I’m sure we’ll visit again the next time I’m in town.

Really good stick to your ribs food. I recently had the patty melt and couldn’t put it down. Had a perfect crust on the outside for a wonderful bite. The flavors came together just how I wanted.
