Probably the best sushi in Highland. I always ask the locals what’s good to eat. This rarely fails. One day I’m getting my haircut and I ask the lady “whats your favorite spot to eat here?”. We swap restaurants and it’s apparent we are vibing the same when it comes to food. Then she tells me you have to try Sushi Miguel’s Style. It sounds..interesting; to say the least. I’ve never been much into the fusion scene, but she swears I’ll love it. So, we look it up and it’s like 2 minutes from my house and it’s definitely a little place. You’ve likely only seen it if your heading into Albertsons or maybe while in line at Rosa Maria’s. You walk in and are greeted with the bar and a handful of tables scattered around a semi-bare restaurant with a couple of TV’s decorating the wall. The menu is pretty big with a list of typical and non-typical variety of sushi, sashimi and other Asian treats. It’s not really a fusion place. It’s more like someone’s vision on a plate. We discuss the all you can eat option ( ) but decide to try some random items for the first time. I order an Awesome roll, spring rolls and some salmon sashimi “Miguel’s Style”. I love spicy and am warned that it’s hot. I’ll be honest, I’m not expecting what’s about to happen. I expect a decent sushi place, semi-fresh fish and a twisted take on this style of food. This place rocked me. Everything was super fresh, had amazing and unique flavors and service was great! Everyone needs to try the sashimi “Miguel’s Style” for sure! They essentially make KILLER hot chili oil, douse the sashimi in it and add pickled onions, green onions and a few other things I can’t put my finger on. The outcome is remarkable. The chili oil isn’t that hot, but my wife “doesn’t do” spice and skipped it and she still raved about the Crunch and Colton roll. Next time I’m dropping $30 and going for the all you can eat. All-in-all this place excited me and brought amazing flavors a little off the beaten path. It made me look at sushi as more of a blank slate and think of what you can add to it to elevate it. I’m very impressed with what I’ve had so far and inl definitely recommend trying this place before it BLOWS UP. Definitely will be back soon, but I must say; this IS probably the best restaurant in Highland (at least from all the ones I’ve had so far). Go. Try. It.

Went for lunch and did the all I can eat. Was concerned about the time it would take, but they got me my order quick and it was delicious. I’m not incredibly picky when it comes to my sushi, but I felt like this was good quality and the rolls had good variety.

I had a hankering for sushi tonight. This isn’t the first time I’ve been to Sushi Miguel’s Style and I was a happy diner once again. I ordered the all you can eat and received quite the bounty of tasty fish. I would recommend to get the Miguel’s style on the side to put on your choices to fit your taste. The staff is attentive and help. The prices are more than reasonable. This is definitely my go to sushi spot in Highland.

This place used to be one of my favorites but lately it has fallen very short of my expectations. Recently I took a small group of friends there to celebrate a Birthday and I accidentally ordered the wrong sushi roll and the waiter was like, “Oh well that’s your problem, we already made it and we can’t take it back.” Which kinda bothered me cause every other restaurant would have gladly taken it back to keep a customer satisfied, especially when the customer is a pending a small fortune at there restaurant. As far as the Sushi goes, it used to be my absolute favorite spot but lately it hasn’t been the same quality. I’ve have found a better spot and its cheaper.

Intriguing little sushi spot with great variations of sushi. The restaurant is small and can have a bit of a wait, especially with an all-you-can-eat option. Our group all did the AYCE and got through 3 rounds including appetizer items, sides, sashimi, and rolls. The price was on point for the amount of food we ended up eating. They have a regular menu too and ask about dessert. The staff didn’t seem too overwhelmed but it did take a little time to get served.

The food was good that sushi was done right The fish was pretty fresh can’t complete there The waitress was timely socially the place is on point very relaxed feeling in there The only thing I have to grape about is the table was a little bit sticky but besides that great place to go would definitely go again.

Pretty good all around. I felt that adding the Chile oil wasn’t necessary most of the time, but I prefer more traditional sushi. Other people in my party were ok with that though.
