BEST PIZZA. So good, we ordered twice within a few days. And I am very picky about my pizza places. Cheese nice and gooey and sauce is so delicious. Even my husband’s fav. Bacon, onion, sweet peppers smelled good (shh, we shall not speak of this to him). Highly recommend you try it. You will love it!

I went to the Twist’d tomato with very high expectations. I got the garlic bread pizza steak. I was hoping for a whole lot more out of this cheesesteak, especially at $10.99. Are the high expectations to blame? They usually are. Looking at the pictures there seems to be a meat shortage. It was good. If there is a brewery nearby I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and get the garlic bread Cheesesteak to eat at the brewery. Nice new place, nice people working hard and the pizzas looked good. Good overall experience.

I did not realize this establishment had new owners. I placed an order today at 11:00am for 13 pizzas. I charged it to my credit card and even added a generous tip. Pizza was to be delivered by 11:45.

I left a bad review bout a yr ago under the old management/ownership but since the new people took it over this pizza place is by far my families favorite!!!! we used to love gallery and doms in newport (still love Doms as well) but gallery has fell off and prices went up but trust me Twisted Tomato is in my/our opinion the best place for a Pie in Delaware!!!! Absolutley Amazing!

Way down hill and disappointing! When this place first opened, it was the best! The Red & White Pizza was our absolute favorite. And the service, despite the very slow delivery, was excellent; everyone was so nice, friendly and professional. However, the last 3 times we’ve ordered, the employees were abrupt, even borderline rude, like they didn’t want to be bothered. Worst of all, the pizza that we used to love so much has been undercooked (raw and doughy), with so much grease, oil and, I guess, water from the ricotta cheese, that it soaked through the box. The best way to describe the pizza overall is “mushy.” We would have had to literally eat it with a spoon. The first couple of times, we chalked it up to them being so busy and/or just a mistake, but since this was the 3rd straight time this happened we thought we’d call and just give them some friendly feedback. They were not very receptive. The female said, “Oh, thanks for letting us know. I’ll tell the pizza maker,” and she hung up. No apology, nothing. It’s such a disappointment because we really loved this place for a while. It’s really gone down hill in the last year or so.

Bad customer service as others have noted. Walked in for a pickup and the cashier didn’t once look at me. I had to get his attention as he was busy reading receipts instead of talking to me. They also forgot ranch dressing with my salad.

The food is always great – especially the jalapeno poppers – but the customer service is horrible. They are constantly out of items. Their website claims delivery until a certain time, but if you call before that and they don’t feel like delivering, they will just tell you they have stopped delivering. What a horrible way to run a business…it’s like spitting in the face of your customers. I am throwing in the towel with this place…will order elsewhere going forward.

This place has changed a bit recently as it seems a lot of the previous staff is no longer there. While the pizza is still good, the newer breading they use for their boneless wings is terrible! If you ask them to NOT bread them, they ignore the request and do it anyway…

This place, without a doubt, deserves a 5 star rating! We’ve ordered from here SEVERAL times in the last 6 months since moving nearby and the food is always delicious and consistent. Furthermore, every person I’ve ever spoken to on the phone or interacted with, be it pick up or delivery, has been nothing short of pleasant and professional. We highly recommend Twist’d Tomato to all our friends and family! Their Facebook page is a much better reflection of their quality, with thousands of likes, endless reviews and a 4.8 star rating! Definitely check them out!
