Do yourself a favor and make plans to stop here before you go see the Haleakala Sunset . Exactly 1 hour drive from the summit, this place did not disappoint and is a great little Italian place with very flavorful offerings. Incidentally became the 6th pizza place we visited as part of our #reallydough adventure – kalua pork special was really good! Crust was crunchy and chewy at the same time (a sign of pizza greatness in my book lol) Generous slivers of pork which was really flavorful in itself and just shines with the pineapple, red onion, and sweet chili sauce.

Great server and service was great. The Mahi Cesar salad was excellent. We also got a pizza, not what I would call new jersey style at all. Crispy crust and a so so sauce. A nice place to eat, but it’s not like new jersey pizza.

Pizza was pretty good here! I’ve been to Prison Street Pizza in Lahaina, and didn’t realize the owners are the same. Food was good. Most of the staff seemed exhausted, they were not unkind, just had no energy.

Killer local American-Italian joint. I was looking for something open after sunset at Haleakala, and was very happy to find this gem. The manager and wait staff were great, I was seated right away and could watch one of the cooks tossing pizza dough and baking pies. The bolognese was delicious and the portions were enormous. I had a full meal, then my wife and I ate the leftovers the next night for dinner. Got to be one of the best deals on the island.

Great experience overall! Party of 5 + a baby. Large Pep pizza, garlic bread, saucy fingers, chicken parm, large Cesar. Homemade focaccia was stellar. Great sauce, great pizza. Service was outstanding. We had our food fast and the place is clean and friendly. Parking was easy. Great ending to our trip to Haleakala.
