Great location close to downtown and major hotels. The decor is fun with fun signs on the walls. We were greeted instantly by a friendly host. The service was outstanding. We were offered freshly brewed iced tea. The menu is full of classic diner choices. We had grilled chicken and a meatball sandwich. The meatball sandwich was huge and delicious – certainly enough to share. The grilled chicken was tasty. This is an excellent lunch choice!

What a nice roadtrip stop. Sadly I think the chicken fried steak was better than what I have been getting in Texas lately. Good hot fresh food. Service was perfect. Clean restaurant and I heard absolutely no whining.

Came to visit the caverns and was on mission to find a local place that has good food. Well we found it! Excellent service, plenty of good hot food and a great atmosphere! Would highly recommend to anyone stopping by Carlsbad!

Delicious home cooking, friendly service and large portions! The prices are reasonable too! This place is on the main drag and easy to find. We will definitely go back. The Tune Melt Sandwich and the Chicken fried steak are both yummy!

On our way to the Caverns, we stopped for a quick bite here and wasn’t disappointed. Small location with good eats, great staff and didn’t break our wallet. We stopped for lunch and the sandwiches were really good, we even got ourselves some souvenir shirts to take home!

Very funky smell when entering. Should have been 1st clue. DO NOT ORDER steak. It was definitely diner food and not the best.The bathrooms were clean but smelled sooooo bad. Like it was mopped with sourred water. Would never return there. Just everything was a little off.It may have been the funky smell. Don’t know….just don’t go.

Waitress was very good. Had shrimp for appetizer it was really good and plentiful. I had prime rib sandwich which was excellent. My husband had fried fish which he said was really good. Gave them only four stars because it’s hard to park there. We drove around the block three times until someone backed out of a spot. The food and service was excellent and made up for it. Will eat there the next time we come through town.

Apparently, this was a good restaurant at one time, but no more. But first, the wait staff was fantastic, I’ve never had better service. We loved the music and the decor. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a terrible smell when we walked in. I almost turned around and left before we were seated, and I should have. The menu bragged about the large size of the salads, but my wife’s Teriyaki Chicken salad was tiny. She had to ask for more lettuce. I ordered the Fish Fillets. They were frozen fish sticks! The tartar sauce was mostly just mayo. It wasn’t the worst meal I’ve ever had, but it was close.
