I’ve tried this place for lunch and take out. It was great both times! The service was wonderful. The food well seasoned and their yum yum is the style I prefer. The portions are generous for take out and perfect for lunch (maybe a bit more than expected for lunch). I was not disappointed here. Such a welcomed addition to the food options in Helena! Thank you!

This isn’t the typical Japanese steak house that I expected – where the hibachi chef performs for you as you sit around the grill. However, the food was excellent, and the service was as well. I was in a group of 6, and the waitress was very accommodating and didn’t flinch when we requested separate checks.

This place was so good that I came back the very next day! The prices are very reasonable and they even offer lunch specials on the weekend! The food was fresh, flavorful, and more rich than any other sushi restaurant I have been to . The service was excellent. After trying 11 rolls and three appetizers, I can definitely say this is my new favorite sushi joint. Probably even my favorite Asian restaurant. You definitely have to try out this hole in the wall. The outside is unassuming but the inside is truly a treasure.

This is my 2nd time visiting this place. It is clean and the employees are very friendly. They have a lovely bar area and TV monitors for viewing sports etc. We ordered food to go again which could be the reason for the food being just so so. The food eaten about 1 hour later was good but not as good as I have had at other places. As soon as I feel comfortable enough to eat in a restaurant, I will give this place another try. Another good point is they do give you a lot of food. The picture is just for one person. And the price for two orders plus wine and tip was less than $60.00.

Friendly staff, delicious food, fair pricing for the quality (especially the lunch specials). I can recommend the lunch bento box, salmon and steak, along with the Phoenix roll and the crazy horse roll. The chicken tempura roll is also good for kids or people that aren’t big on seafood. Great place!

So glad they opened in Helena! Great sushi and if by chance any vegetarians are reading this they have a great selection of veggie sushi. I have had most all the vegetable rolls and they are all good. It’s a nice restaurant to dine in as well and have some saki.

My family loves Osaka. It is always great and we get food from there often. So, when my family drove up to Helena for all of us to go to dinner for my niece’s birthday, we of course recommended Osaka. On this occasion, while the server was good and everyone’s food was great, my wife and I did have an issue with our food. I complained to the person on charge before leaving. Not long after leaving the owner called and apologized. He made it right and showed that he really cares about his customers. In a time when good customer service can be so rare, I really appreciate him taking the time to address my concerns.
