I think there may have been an error in the food we received. It was very bland. We had three different entrees – one with chicken, one with paneer, one with egg and potatoes. We ordered spice level 4. What we got were dishes with a gritty texture, fatty mouthfeel, and no seasoning. There was heat – but no flavoring spices like I would expect South Indian food to have; no cumin, no ginger, no coriander or cardamom or turmeric – I could taste cinnamon but not much else. There was no savory allium flavor, no herbal flavors, there was not even salt. If we hadn’t gotten three entrees I’d have wondered if I was accidentally served a sauce base of some kind instead of a finished sauce. Maybe that’s still true; but there are a few that echo mine, so I don’t think it’s a one-off issue.

Honestly the best Indian food around! Not sure why other reviewers feel the need to whine about not being able to dine in when there’s only two people running the entire restaurant and it’s short staffed everywhere right now. I’m just happy they’re still open, friendly as ever and the food is always amazing and made in a very timely manner considering the circumstances. Let the owners run their business the way they want to and have some patience!

This is a hidden gem for AUTHENTIC Indian food near reading! If you’re bored of the regular Indian buffet food and want something different come here! Have excellent options for appetizers,entrees and I’m so excited to try their naughty naan next time!! Have MANY drink choices as far as chai teas,espresso,smoothies etc! Regular prices for Indian food and good portions! Owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Rangoli does not offer dine-in (according to their cashier) which was very disappointing as I walked quite far to eat here. There was a family sitting which confused me even more. They should do a better job of clarifying this on their google listing.

Stopped in today after always driving past it. Just ordered one order of samosas to go. The owners or employees working were extremely kind, and when I was waiting for my food I was given some mango lassi to sip on. I dont know if they are remodeling but if so inside is gorgeous. Will definitely come back, the samosas were excellent.

Food and drink was delicious. They told us they don’t have a freezer, everything is fresh. I got the Naughty Naan and a golden latte, both were delicious. The chicken is super tender. Can’t wait to go back!

We have eaten here only two times but I think it’s going to be one if my favorite go-to places! I have enjoyed the chick pea curry and the egg roll (NOT a Chinese egg roll) so far. The chai tea and the mango drink are fabulous. My family has ordered the Dal and the chicken curry dishes and have really enjoyed them. The owner, Kristna, is so very hospitable and friendly and he will help you order if you are not familiar with Indian food. The naan bread is soooo delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!! There is parking in the rear. Prices are very reasonable. Try it!! My photos are not that good, so go see for yourself!
