Wow! Ok…. I know, I know, pics sell… BUT I was sooo excited about this place, I dove right into my meal as soon as it arrived! Anytime my hubs and I get out, we love to try out new “greasy bars/cafes” and reviews are how I like to choose! This place had me on the fence because I’m all about service and chicken fried steaks! (I’m pretty sure Jesus served them at the Last Supper…). We went for lunch on a Sunday, 2 amazing young ladies working, NBA on the projector, regulars lined up around the bar, kids playing on the pool tables, Sublime on the juke, food and drink specials (so ask!), and an environment you won’t soon forget! It reminds me of home, if Mema would have been a redneck hoarder of all things flea market…. and I absolutely adored it! This place has it all, if you are looking for that greasy spoon, biker bar, family lunch dive, cheers type, everyone knows your name kinda place. My Momma raved about this place and so I tried it. They burnt my chicken fried steak and since it was take out, I wonder if they figured it was okay to send it out. I’m not sure, but I’m not impressed. My Mom was so apologetic and hasn’t returned. They were going about 2x a week. I was going to call, but we couldn’t find the receipt. I figure a review and picture will do the trick. The batter was good. I pray they get better and conscientious cooks and staff. This is awful.

No lunch crowd. The onion burger with chili and curly fries was amazing. I would recommend a larger hotdog because the bun:dog ratio is 70:30 at best.

I had been once before, quite a while ago and some coworkers and I decided to go get drinks after work since we got out early. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the fried cheese slabs and they were really good. Huge and cheesy. We will definitely go back next time we get out early on payday! Lol.

It’s a pretty fun bar that I never knew existed. Cannot rate the food too much as the kitchen was closed when we got there. But the darts are cheap so we were pleased.

This place had the biggest strips of catfish I’ve ever seen. Food was good, atmosphere was good. The waitress we had was not real friendly! But all in all, I recommend Okie Tonk Cafe!
