Beautiful little restaurant with awesome art decoration. Ordered pupusas revueltas and a chicken tamal….unfortunately, the tamal lacked flavor, but the chicken was very moist.

The most delicious food and the staff are so kind and welcoming! I’ve been meaning to stop by since I drove by and saw the sign out front and finally did and couldn’t be happier. I’ve never found such an authentic Oaxacan restaurant outside of Mexico. This place is definitely worth a visit. I will absolutely be coming back

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our food came out quickly and was so good. The papusas were delicious. The cabbage mix and salsa choices just added to it all. We also tried the mole and the cactus plate, OMG! So good! Warm tortillas, and the rice was the best I’ve had in a restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

This place was fantastic, the Tlayuda was as big as a medium pizza and the pupusas were some of the best I’ve tried. I love that the pupusas had so many options and the curtido was fresh and delicious. Will be coming back soon

Over 17 dollars for one pupusa and the worlds saddest torta that I waited over 30 minutes for and soggy French fries that they forgot about. The pupusas were okay but also forgotten about so they served it to us with our check in a to go container. There’s better pupusas and salvadorian food in salt lake I would not go back

Very very kind staff, tasty food, and I like the ambience a lot. I forgot my spicy salsa and the hostess ran out to give it to me! Will definitely be back to try more!

I do not deny that the food is good. but I think they should pay attention to hygiene details I went to buy pupusas and there were hairs in the vegetables I have also noticed that the cooks do not use hairnets

I fell in love with Oaxacan food when we visited a couple years ago. I tried a few places when visiting home in San Diego, but none came close to the real thing.

we drove 1 hour 30 minutes to eat here and went with high expectations since my husband is from oaxaca… i was beyond dissapointed. I asked for the bean tlayuda and it hardly had beans and no tomato or avocado on it ( the menu says it comes with it) The Mesero was not friendly- zero people skills and the vibe inside was just very dissapointing. I was hoping for a fun atmosphere at least some music to make it more enjoyable but it was very slow service even though hardly no one was there. We expected better flavor but it was just okay – pupusas were okay as well- we never had anyone ask how the food was or if we needed refills… just very sad service. We wont be back-
