I love this place. I simply cannot get enough of the cilantro rice! Everything I have had there has been so awesome! 3 times in 2 months! The fish tacos, the shrimp appetizer, the enchiladas, the ahi tuna salad. All amazing. I have to drive 3 hrs to get there but sometime I’m gonna be there for breakfast!!!!

The Cornbread is a MUST try. So delicious and buttery. The 3-dip appetizer and Spinach dip was AWESOME. Ate a second tri-dip platter as my entree it was so good. The rock shrimp was also fantastic. Great staff and very friendly. Helped us surprise our friend with her birthday cake. The Coppa Moscato was also tasty and cold.

The food in this place never disappoints. They have a small menu, but all options are very good. I have tried a few plates and I have no complains about any of them. The stuff has been consistently attentive and friendly. I have never had anybody in there providing poor service. The place is rather small inside, but they have a covered patio that is nice and enjoyable (except when it is over 100 degrees). I highly recommend this place. Very good and consistent.

Red Oak Kitchen in Odessa is a great restaurant- service and food, 5 stars! There is a good patio space and covered patio as well as an upstairs. I’d imagine with food like this they are pretty busy! I ordered the cornbread and the Baja fish tacos with homemade Mac n cheese Both were excellent!! The pizzas looked great and the pics of breakfast make me want to come back again and again!

To start with the hostess that I think was a manager made us sit there to wait on a table when there was plenty of tables available. She was rude. The waitress was very nice and pleasant. That’s why I gave a one star. The food was mediocre, we ordered an espresso martini, and the martini was missing the ingredients except for the espresso, I would not recommend dining here if you are wanting to have a nice evening and enjoy the atmosphere, my prime rib was grilled, not how prime rib should be served, charred. I think they can do better a lot better. The first bottle of wine we received was not good. It was warm. It should have been at a temperature that should be served for Cabernet.

Wow what a treat. We decided to stop by for dinner and it happened to be the best food we have had in some time. I had the mushroom pizza and wife had the fish tacos. She said it was definitely 5+stars. My pizza was delicious I couldn’t of asked for better. Overall the experience was very special and the staff was super friendly. Will have to come back and try the other foods on menu.

Always delicious and the service is immaculate every time. Me and my roommates go eat in or grab take out at least once a month, it’s super tasty and when eating in the restaurant you get a really nice atmosphere! The loft seating they have upstairs is great for a little romantic date or gathering with friends!

First visit. Best breakfast burrito ever! Iris was our server and she was amazing making sure we had everything that we needed and checked back often. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The sign was impossible to see from the parking lot due to trees. So call. Or it’s next door to Cork and Pig.

I am very disappointed. Red Oak Kitchen has been one of my family’s favorite places to eat for years, and I used to consider it one of the best restaurants in the Midland/Odessa area. However, tonight me and my family went to eat and received terrible, awful service. I always bring my dog (which is allowed) and we always sit outside, away from people. Typically, we are treated very well and no one has a problem with us sitting outside. Tonight, the hostess did not seem very happy about us being outside, but she still got us a table, which is fine. Unfortunately, a few moments later, another women who didn’t even look like she worked here, essentially belittled us for sitting outside, acting as if the restaurant and staff had no clue we were out here and that it was our own fault that we were waiting. I’m not sure the internal miscommunication that went down, but the hostess knew we were there, and I watched her put us down for a table, so I was sure that the staff was aware. Plus, we hadn’t been waiting. We were outside for about 30 seconds at that. It was not OUR FAULT that anything happened. Food was mediocre, service was terrible. I shouldn’t go to a restaurant just be treated like a child and have the staff act like I don’t know how to get a table. I’ve never had an issue before, very sad that I won’t be going back for a while. I truly hope they fix this situation with they’re disrespectful hostess and waiters, and that random lady who told us off, meanwhile she was wearing pajamas. Incredible disappointed. Everyone, save yourself and just go somewhere that guarantees good food and service. Not worth spending $150 on poor food and rude staff.
