My husband took me Saturday night 8:00pm, the dining area was very nice, the waiter was great. The female kitchen help was LOUD & rude. I asked for my sub to be cut in 1/4’s, I could here every word she said regarding my request. I normally do not get upset but Tracy’s comment was ” What , I did not say anything bad, they can come talk to me” , at this point I asked if she was a manager, she is not. I found it very rude for the volume & tone that was being used with patrons dining in.

They have great workers and delivery drivers. You have to know what to order though because you can be disappointed here. The subs are solid, if you get pizza only get the thin crust (thick and hand-tossed are consistently doughy and have too much sauce), and avoid the calzones.

I ordered double pepperoni and double sausage and at first it wasn’t correct. I called them and they were very nice and extremely apologetic. I really appreciate them not giving me a hard time and they corrected it and have a new one for free! Staff is always really nice and delivery driver was very sweet.

Love that Donato’s is locally owned, but the food is the same great quality no matter the location you visit. I stopped in last night to get a pizza & the staff were extremely gracious. They have a party room for booking at this N State St location. No fee or food minimum for booking the room

If you’re a conservative, AVOID!!! The food is always good at Donatos, however, this time I feel compelled to comment due to the service and how I was treated. So, I was wearing a shirt that showed my support of the 2nd Amendment when three of us entered the restaurant and we were greeted by a very young female worker named Crystal. From the moment I entered I sensed a bit of unspoken disdain directed towards me alone, which can only be attributed to my shirt. The unfriendly treatment continued the entire time we were there and after ordering, my friends received their two subs in a normal timely manner, but even after another 15 minutes my order still had not arrived. My friend ended up going to the counter to ask why and she saw them just starting to make my order So about 7 minutes later I finally got it. I spoke to the manager who, was also obviously a strong liberal too, stated that there were only 4 of them working. Ok, but the three of us were the ONLY ones in the restaurant! She offered to take my items off the bill and I said that’s fine, but then never took them off! I called her when I got home and she asked me to hold and then put me on the eternal hold!!! LOL, these people are insane! It’s really too bad that people will let their political opinions get in the way of professionalism. Those that say “stop the hate” need to start practicing what they preach. I never once treated any one of them with anything but kindness and courtesy, maybe you could try doing the same. Enjoy your safe place, I will never go back there again.
