Rasta Pasta was yummy! Could use more chicken though. Loved the yams too. Portion sizes are indeed lovely! Grateful they serve rasta pasta with 3 sides! Most places will only serve you the pasta and nothing else :/ The rice and peas was a bit flavorless. The cabbage also wasn’t the best but tasted better eaten with the pasta. Everything all together was worth the $15. I ordered delivery so I don’t have any customer service experience to report but I hope when I eat there in the future it will be positive!

Nice food portions, good customer service, food was very flavorful. I only have one suggestion, to change the containers. The speciality juices were delicious . I highly recommend the curry shrimp.

I visited this store May 2023 for the first time while on lunch break. I stood there waiting for this woman to speak to me. Another women walked in, and she immediately helped the other lady. I respectfully said mam I was here first. She got really rude, so I left. She wasn’t done with her rudeness. She said, yeah just go. I tried to talk things out than a man with a REALLY large head came from the back saying our people already have enough problems (even though this woman was the actual only problem) and yelled at me and told me to get out. Looking upon these ratings, you all better start learning how to treat people soon. It’s not looking good for y’all.

The food was excellent. Wasn’t aware of this place before today. Curry Chicken was well seasoned. Portions were outstanding. The yams were especially good. Well worth the trip outside the city for great island food. The pricing is why I will return often.

The food is good, BUT I haven’t gotten a fully correct order in over a year (ever since that new-ish manager started)! Once they sent me home with chicken instead of fish – and I don’t even eat chicken. Other times they’ve put cabbage or candied yams in my orders when I’ve explicitly said none of those should be added. I thought when they switched to online orders that it would get better – it didn’t. What’s the point of having an online system and notes if they never bother to read them. That plus the little attitude I got today when I checked and told them my BOTH my orders were wrong is absurd to me. Also I don’t know who told them ‘candied yams’ was a popular Jamaican food – how? where? Stop it. The customer service is subpar and I don’t think that the food is worth CONSISTENTLY bad service. There are too many other good Jamaican spots around.

I have been a customer for more than a decade and can attest to the fact that the jerk chicken, red snapper in brown stew, beef patties, vegetable patties and ginger drinks are the best. The chef and owner Mr.Donevol Samuel is not only kind, he is also a world class pastry chef and makes delicious cakes that are also appealing to the eye. This place is thee truth!!! I always get the jerk turkey wings and I’ve also tried the rasta pasta. Both were excellent with plentiful portions. The cabbage is seasoned to perfection and the cocoa bread is so moist and delicious. The cakes and sorrel are a must-try as well. You won’t be disappointed.
