Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano is a well known and long loved tradition that is a popular part of the downtown Grapevine experience. Just a short walk off of Main Street on E. Worth Street, the restaurant occupies a late 1800’s renovated house inside the historic district. Well known for its atmosphere, Tex Mex dishes, margaritas and local scene, Esparza’s has been offering a little something for everyone since 1985. The menu is loaded with a wide variety of delicious dishes and offers a great selection for children as well. We decided to try this Mexican Restaurant due to the reviews. We tried a variety of items and the only thing that we thought could be done better would be to grill the onions and peppers better as they were barely cooked on the fajitas. Other than that the flavors were good and everyone enjoyed their meals.

I can understand the draw of this place. Good location, just a block off Main St in downtown Grapevine and they have a good sized patio. It’s a bit bigger inside than I expected to see from the outside. It was busy, basically full. Inside was a bit loud since it’s mostly an open dining room.

I had not been here since COVid-the food is great, it’s buzzing with people and the service is fantastic as well. I had the tacos and a beer, yep well worth it! TexMex galore! Great place to meet up with friends after work, the bar area is large and I hear they have great margaritas!!!

Went with coworkers for lunch and it was amazing! We took 2 bites of our chips and BAM refilled. Cup got down to half way and voila! refilled! Food was amazing! Queso was bomb!! I got brisket enchiladas and killed my plate. going back ASAP! Margarita’s looked bomb!!

Reading the reviews on here and I completely disagree with how many good reviews this place has. The first time I went to this place, the service was subpar. This time around (2nd and last time I’m coming here) it was the same. We were seated quickly. However, it was freezing cold in here. Also, it is so loud and there’s no music. The tables were all so close together. It’s definitely more for families and children type of atmosphere. The food was meh for how expensive it was. Extremely greasy and just not at all flavorful. I’ve had better Tex Mex food. Apparently, their known for their margaritas. They were okay. Service was okay, but quick. Won’t be coming back unfortunately.

Found this place trying to find Papacitas. Luckily, my wife is horrible at being the navigator and came across this place. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was awesome! I’m from West Texas and Mexican food is dime a dozen. This is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I have eaten a ton. Can’t wait to come back to the DFW area.
