What shall I say? I’m stunned. This was by far the BEST German food ever we had here in the US !!!! Usually we go to the Hofbräuhaus to get some authentic German food when we are homesick but this is really not comparable. We had the Jägerschnitzel and the Rouladen, it was so good I almost cried…..

We stopped in the restaurant for dinner on 4/11/23. For drinks, we throughly enjoyed two mugs of Warsteiner. For dinner, we had the Liverwurst Sausage Platter and the fabulous Pork Schnitzel. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

My tastebuds lit up! Wow. Went there first time with some German friends, met the fantastically friendly owners and had an authentic German meal. The food was out of this world with flavors. From the meats, to the sauces, and the red cabbage with clove and cinnamon. Top it off with a great German wine and life is good…

Food was excellent. Service top notch and great attitude. Small quaint resraurant where reservations are preferred. We had the brats with sauerkraut and potatoes and my dad had the wiener snitzel.My husband had some beer which he thought was very good. We took home a slice ( more like a giant wedge) of the black forest cake— it was really good. We all said we would go back.

My family and I are huge fans of German food and wherever we vacation, we seek it out. We discovered this place back in 2016 and fell in love. Gary the owner is amazing. Unfortunately, for our 2022 vacation, our experience was not good at all. I will give credit where it is due. The service was great and the food came out fast. Our total dining time was less than an hour. It pretty much goes downhill from there. Most dishes were just bland and lacking flavor. The mushroom sauce had canned mushrooms in it. The gulasch was so spicy that it was barely edible. I love spicy food,but this was so over the top I could feel the heat in my hair. Granted we had a double order of the potato pancakes and one beer, but the total for the meal plus tip, for a family of four, that consisted of two salads for entrees was over $200!!!!! We didn’t see Gary this visit and we overheard other guests asking where he was and it sounded like he was on vacation. But looking around at the other guests it appeared that they were not very happy with the food either. I get that we are living in extraordinary times but this was unacceptable.

Huge delicious portions that are served amazingly quick. We went on a Friday night without reservations and got seated right away. Lots of reserved signs on tables but not too busy when we were there. The schnitzel was amazing. My husband has some beef in dark beer gravy that was devoured. Cute little place. Higher prices but typical for good German food.
