All I wanted was a gyro! A real gyro. I should have known it was not meant to be when I ordered and she asked me 9 or 12 inch. Then I went in to get my order (dining area is closed) and the lady pronounced the word gyro incorrect. I should have left then. I ordered it so I pay for it. Get home to eat. Expectations really low but hopeful. Opened it up. All hope faded. This tiny bit of meat on a thick, very doughy vessel I am certain was just pizza dough. Not a pita as it should have been. Covered in cooked red onion! The tazaki sauce i think was ok but I didn’t have enough to actually taste it. Huge disappointment and pricey for what it was.

Putting 3 stars because the food is really good and ive been there many times id reccomend their spaghetti, cheese sticks, and calzones, but there’s(was i dont know if shes still there) an employee that gave herself a $7 tip without my knowledge and had to go through some stuff because it put my account in the negatives. They resolved the issue by giving me the $7 cash, however with this negative experience i wont plan on going back to Romas.

I grew up going to this restaurant and by comparison it’s lacking in a lot of areas in comparison to other small-owned Italian places. The food is super greasy and the interior is beyond outdated. We got the pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. Both were ok. But our Greek salad smelled really funky and we didn’t feel good about eating it so we had to cut our losses on that.
