Enjoy a historical atmosphere while savoring memorable eats!
This historic building housed the Corry Public Library for almost 80 years! To better accommodate the growing library, they moved from Center Street to Washington Street. Since then the Library Bar and Grill has resided at 203 Center St but never forgetting its past. So while you are enjoying the restaurant please make sure to check out all the new renovations and some of the town’s history displayed on the canvases.

Most amazing burgers. Had the best burger of my life here. Blue cheese with added bacon. Was cooked perfect, juicey and delicious! Kudos to the grillmaster!

Went to Library Bar and Grill in Cory today for lunch. Food was very tasty- mostly fried- the fresh cut French fries were awesome! I had the fried shrimp basket- 6 larch shrimp perfectly fried. My husband had the cheesesteak. Our waitress was awesome! 45 minute drive from Erie. We really enjoyed it!

The place is very beautiful and has a lot of charm since it is a bar inside a bookstore. Regarding the food, I didn’t like it very much, I ordered some nachos and the plate of tacos with pancakes, an absolute mistake.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 p.m.. ordered two hamburgers to be cooked well done. 25 minutes later the waitress asked us if rare was okay.. as in bloody. We asked if we could have them cooked the way we had requested but perhaps she didn’t understand? We were thinking that she(or the folks in the kitchen coud just throw the patties back on the grill… no idea what actually happened .. but.. An hour after we initially arrived there was still no sign of food. Did inform the waitress we were very hungry hoping she would perhaps bring something to tide us over…but there seemed to be no attempt to include no concern by the other waitresses or staff that the individual waiting on our table was struggling. Finally Asked waitress if there was any hope as we were in fear of starving to death. She seemed confused and told me there was no way to know. We finally gave up hope and left Totally and utterly flabbergasted… And still very very hungry. The Library Bar and Grill is usually great – the food is hot and tasty but this last adventure made the top ten list of Bad Restaurant Experiences. Feel bad for the waitress. Annoyed and disappointed at the rest of the staff who did not help her in any way. We visited the restaurant on the evening of Friday April 14th 2023. Hopefully management and ownership reads this and has a conversation with their staff regarding that particular evening

Food was great. Service was just as good. Kacie is the best; not only a top notch server, but a server with a very good sense of humor and very quick and respectful wit. We had the wings as a starter… Maybe some of the best we’ve ever had! Friday night prime rib special was as good as some of the top chop houses in the Pittsburgh area! The artichoke chicken was over the top and was really too much for one person. Special ordered the 1/2 pound “Library Famous Steak Burger” as a straight up burger rather than with the standard cheese, grilled mushrooms and onions. One word: Tremendous! If you’re looking for a quality meal in a very friendly place, don’t hesitate to stop. You will not be disappointed! Last thought, very sound selection of draft and bottled beer plus a full service bar.

Good food, good service. Only draw back,a Draft beer, a large, which is pretty small, costs $13 , very expensive..

Tastey food, but a bit pricey for amount. Liked the downstairs atmosphere way better than the upstairs area. They closed the worng bar to the public.
