I love this place, in large part due to the amazing staff. Sadly I didn’t get their names, but one woman seemed to be made of magic as she handled the late lunch crowd and bar generally by herself. As noted, it was a late lunch, so it wasn’t too busy but it was getting busy as it was turning into happy hour/early dinner time. Any way, she was super helpful, kind, and attentive and never seemed to be too busy or overwhelmed. Then another young lady came in and also helped. So clearly I’m first and foremost impressed and appreciative of the staff. Next they bring salsa and chips. Loved the tomatillo salsa. I ordered nachos. The guac on the nachos was pretty great. I also ordered fried ice cream and she gave me both chocolate and strawberry sauce on it. The strawberry sauce was best! (get that) Overall a good dining experience turned great because of the staff.

Stopped by for dinner after a long day. The green salsa is some of the best I’ve had! I also had the cilantro and lime chicken quesadilla. Service was super and I would love to go again.

This was a good restaurant the food was good the prices were average. There chips and salsa was good but could have been warmer. With the chips they brought out 2 different kind of salsas which was cool. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. The overall experience was good. I recomend you at least try this place it’s in a perfect spot in down town Tacoma.

BEWARE!! I ordered a margarita with herradura silver, and instead of telling me up front that they don’t carry that tequila, the server took it upon herself to upgrade me to an ultra anejo. When the check arrived she basically told me it was my fault that she upgraded me to a top shelf tequila without my knowledge because it was “the closest alternative”, even though I specifically ordered a MID grade SILVER tequila. When explaining the situation to the manager he was extremely combative, aggressive, condescending, and called me cheap in front of the whole restaurant.
