Driving through Vaughn and stoped by the dinner to get something to eat. Overall not a bad experience. The food was good and at a decent price. I had the Hearty Breakfast and it was pretty good. The only reason not giving it five stars was because the customer service was lacking. Not bad, but seemed like the cashier and cook were just going through the motions and not putting much effort into their work. Cashier didn’t greet me as I entered and rarely came by to ask if I needed anything and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Overall not a bad place, just need to be better when it comes to customer service. A smile now and then wouldn’t hurt either.

I really enjoyed stopping here for real food and not just road trip food. Open 24 hours. Great place and atmosphere. Very kind and considerate server. Had to share the photo posted of the pay phone. When do you ever see those. haha

Nice place. Food was cooked to a perfection. Could of used a bit of salt while cooking. Friendly people. Great old fashion milkshakes. Get strawberry. Veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly.

I have not eaten in a restaurant this bad in Years. The restaurant was not crowded. It still took me 20 minutes to get a menu. Another 20 minutes for her to take my order and 45 minutes to get my Cheese omelet. And make sure That you have a pocketful of money because this place is not cheap.

I love diner atmosphere, food, and especially people. This place is exactly that! We had chicken fried steak with mashed and corn, patty melt with fries. They were both on par with an ideal experience. Our cook was the sweetest, most welcoming person I’ve had the pleasure of having a lunch conversation with. We talked about the good food, the local area, the general state of the world, and the general happenings of life. This was like having dinner at my moms house but only better because mom makes me do dishes thank you for the great food and company!!!

Food was good at reasonable price. Would’ve got a 5 but didn’t have great seasoning. The food definitely needed at least salt, and im not a salt pwrson. Service wasn’t great til the end when a lady that was in her day off came in and started helping us. The atmosphere there there is pretty cool and laid back. Also was out of a lot of things like bacon and milk among others.

Enjoyed a late night breakfast here after visiting White Sands and an ancient lava flow. They were the ONLY place anywhere around to eat for many miles! They are situated by a motel located back off route 285. Food and service were excellent. Recommended.

50’s style diner. Great atmosphere and great food. Have shakes, floats, banana splits, burgers, patty melts, sandwiches. Yummy fries and tater tots. Only one waitress, so service a little slow, but she did a great job!
