The owner and his wife are extremely rude. I watched the owner and his wife not only ignore customers to be on their phone but cause someone to walk out of the store. While I was eating here I saw 3 delivery drivers come in. The owners ignored them and then finally when they got off their phone to sigh and talk down to the delivery driver who is helping their business make money. For the average tasting food I will not be coming back due to how they treat people. I do not see this place staying in business much longer with this approach. Treat your customers better and the delivery drivers that help your business. Rolling eyes talking down and ignoring people is not the way to grow a business.

Not sure if I’ll be coming back here again. Front lady sure was not amicable or welcoming. I’d only stopped here and drove a bit because of their name, The Rice Pot. However they wouldn’t make the typical fried rice Id requested for.

I went to this place on Wednesday, I will never go back ever. That lady with the glasses is very rude. I wish I could give no stars. I will blast this place on yelp. Trust me go somewhere else. Because of her rudeness, I made her cancel my order. Last time I checked all money is green. Do better, life is to short.

Today I came into Rice pot to place my order. I first call about 10 mins out from the restaurant the lady picked up and said “Hi, you are calling in for prosper.” I said “Yes, I’m calling to do pickup order.” She then responded and said “Are you sure you in the right area.” She was talking fast and rudely and pursed to hang up the phone in my face. Immediately before she hung up she said “That’s what I thought.” At this point I sensed an attitude so, I continued to drive and arrived at the restaurant. I walked in and there was a guy standing at the cash register greeting me to take my order. I said “Hi, how are you? I called a few minutes ago and a lady answered the phone rudely and hung up the phone in my face.” As i was talking the lady was bending down so I repeated myself and her response was “I couldn’t hear you.” And she proceeds to walk off. The professionalism here is terrible and management need to run a professionalism class for this restaurant because I was not treated as fair. Then, I revived my food the shrimp is fresh and cooked, the rice is half way cooked, and the peas taste like they were cooked from the freezer. Please do better on your food.

Wifey surprised me with an impromptu lunch delivery that she ordered via the online form. I wasn’t even finished with my meeting when the doorbell rang (within 20 minutes). The food was excellent – fresh, tasty, good portions. We were both pleasantly surprised. A good experience from our end that certainly warrants a revisit.

The location in prosper tx off Preston was very ride to me. Bad customer service. Went to use restroom and lady yelled at me across room saying I had to buy something. I had never stopped to eat at this place before today, as soon as I walked inside there is a smell in the air that doesn’t give you much confidence, I decided to order a vegetable delight with tofu and told them that I wanted it cooked crisp almost raw, in the meantime I went to the Restroom to wash my hands and that’s when I really had second thoughts about this place. The Restroom was so dirty it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months from the toilet to the sink. My veggies were over cooked and the steamed rice had shanks that were half way cooked. If you only order delivery you might want to pay a visit to see if they improve the cleanings.
