My fiancé and I both ordered the steak fried rice. This was our first time here and we are extremely impressed. Compared to other Japanese restaurants, this place is extremely affordable, friendly, most value for your money. The food was fresh, and I received salad and complimentary pink sauce with our meal, unlike most places.

I ordered the dinner hibachi which didn’t come with any onions. The carrots were way too big and the food was bland. However the yum yum sauce saved the day! The customer service was excellent.

I ordered the steak hibachi today. I am very allergic to mushrooms, but I didn’t see them listed in any product description, so I didn’t think to specify. I wasn’t looking down at my meal much, but after several bites, I noticed a weird texture. There were mushrooms in my food, and I ended up having an allergic reaction. Please include everything in the hibachi in the online menu!!!!!!

The Yakamesi plates are good. They have Chicken, Shrimp, Steak and Vegetable options. My personal favorite is the Chicken. I would advise calling your order in because the wait time is about 15 minutes.

The sushi was good and their edamame was cooked perfect which isn’t that common. Their seaweed salad was still practically frozen, it had ice still on it and was inedible. That’s the one thing that makes this not 5*s.

The local college town sushi joint. You can’t beat 3 roll combos for 9 bucks! Sushi is well constructed & tasty but nothing fancy. You’ll find all the rolls you’d expect, but nothing out of the box. They also do hibachi combos for $5-10, with plenty of entrée options: veggie, chicken, steak, salmon, scallops, tuna, and shrimp.

The food was delicious. it was quickly prepared and brought to me. I really enjoyed the Philadelphia roll sushi. The chopsticks that they have at this restaurant are the nicest chopsticks that I’ve ever used at an Asian restaurant. Delicious chicken hibachi with savory pink sauce. Definitely recommend!
