I think I’m going to really enjoy this place, today I came for lunch. But I will be back to try their dinner menu. I always found a restaurant, that has a nice crisp clean sophisticated look appealing to me. Iron Tail Tavern did everything right in the decor department. Upon entering you have the bar to your left, and then there’s a few high top tables to your right. Then you have upstairs dining area. I like this area, because there’s a lot of room up here. Plus the view overlooking the bar is really nice.

Tried brunch here on a Sunday and was not disappointed! We were the only table when we arrived and there were 8 of us. We started with mimosas, Irish coffees and two of the Shaksukas to share. The Shaksuka was so amazing and large enough to feed us all, so much flavor. For our meals we had Sausage Biscuits & Gravy, French Omelette, Iron Tail BUrger and Steak and Eggs which we all shared and loved everything. Our server was very attentive and the food was so delicious. We had a great time and would certainly be back!

Had a fantastic lunch there today. Sat outside. Service impeccable. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable for high-quality, homemade food. Lunch $14.00, and I finished it for dinner!

We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant & were so glad we did. The food is superb & the service gracious. We had the halibut & the rack of lamb; both dishes were perfectly cooked & carefully prepared. Highly recommend.

Had lunch here today. All 3 dishes that we ordered were not as described on the menu. 1 dish was the wrong thing entirely. The drinks were good, the food was not. We had high hopes but probably won’t be back. It seems like depending on when you go, the food is either amazing or not good. We got the latter.

Iron tail tavern is one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in forever. The meals were out of this world. Attention to detail and beautiful cuisine and environment. Second time here. Perhaps one of the bet omelettes ever! Velvety. Home fries and bacon also excellent. Highly recommend it for Sunday brunch. Haven’t tried dinner yet, but looking forward to it.

The drinks are stiff but made with incredibly low quality liquor. Food was mediocre at best, almost inedible at worst. Have had many good meals in Buffalo when visiting but this was not one of them.
