Heard so much about this place from friends and family so I had to give this place a try… And this place was absolutely amazing …The Philly steaks are so far the best I have ever had and this is coming from a guy who’s had them all over new york and the world..I highly recommend getting the Traditional and The New Yorker they were cooked to perfection and tasted out of this world…And the cheesecake bites was a great sweet treat to end the meal and my cheat day I definitely will be back to try the other ones..

Thanks Marietta and the Yelp Hudson Valley Instagram account for posting about Crotty’s! We stopped by one afternoon for lunch and tried this hole in the wall! There is not much seating at this place (2 tables with some chairs and a few high tops at the windows). The tables were occupied when we got there. The girl at the front was nice and we got our food about 10 minutes after ordering. It was pretty cold in there (even the girl at the front complained to us about it) and it was SO quiet. I was so uncomfortable standing beside the people who were there just listening to them chew ! Because it’s so small/semi full we decided to take our food home. By the time we got there stuff was soggy. Not the restaurants fault, but I would have liked to eat there. We got the traditional cheesesteak with caramelized onions and whiz and it was so good!! I would have liked to have a little more whiz on my sandwich or have it more dispersed throughout it instead of just on the bottom. You get a ton of food for the price and the bun was great! We also had the fries (would have been better to eat there) and a small Mac n cheese which were also good! I’d definitely go back to try something else and hopefully sit there.

I have been here multiple times and it never ceases to be amazing. I have had multiple different cheesesteaks and other food as well but for sure the cheesesteaks are amazing. I suggest the Alpha Wolf as it is so good if you like a bit of spice and provolone. Making your own chew steaks are also great! The people who work there are very kind and all together I would rate this a 6 star rating not 5 stars.

Step aside Philly, there’s a new sheriff in town. I’ve had all the heavy hitters before. I’ve taken a a road trip just for a sandwich from Pat’s or Genos. Now there’s Crottys. This is the perfect spot in Westchester for anything craveable, hearty and cheesy.

Had went to the new Rochelle location and the staff was an absolute gem! Everyone very sweet along with the food being spectacular!! Recently went to the play land boardwalk where they have been which is closer to home and has been yet again amazing!! Paul is out of this world!! Amazing funny guy! Thank you so much for having not just delicious food but also having absolutely terrific people working and loving what they do! Couldn’t ask for better!

Sandwich was what I hoped for, a copy of the Philly. Bread was on point, steak chopped properly, cheese whiz and onions like the original. (You can pick different cheeses & toppings if you like, I wanted the OG) People were friendly and polite. Everyone’s a food critic these days. These people are doing a good job. I appreciate their effort. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better cheesesteak in lower westchester. I will be back.

Ordered delivery from White Plains Ghost Kitchen. Caprese cheesesteak was delicious. My son tried The Irishman, equally good. French fries were well seasoned. They had gotten a little soft during delivery but were still tasty. I wish there was a way to keep foods crisp in transport. Next time will have air fryer ready to crisp them up a bit – and there will be a next time!

The cheesesteaks hands down the best, my complaint is the sides. The sides are good too, I had the onion rings. But if I am paying $8.00 dollars for onion rings I expect more than eight onion rings, I paid $1.00 per onion ring. Please improve on that area and then I would give six stars!
