First time reading at Kirin. It is a rainy, yucky day. I ordered egg drop soup and an egg roll. Everything was hot and fresh. Even the crispy noodles to drop in the soup were fresh and not stale.

I’m not sure if it was a bad day or what. Yes, the place clean. But, as I was about to order, a lady stepped in front of me and my husband…the staff ignored me to assist her. Like what!? We were the only people in line. Anyways, the staff walked away as we just stood there looking at each wondering if we should just simply leave. That was so rude. We decided to give it another try. We order, take our seat. Felt like it took forever to get our food. And to be honest it was mediocre at best. I saw the reviews and was expecting this awesome meal. But, it just wasn’t. It was bland. The rice was not tasty. The sweet and sour sauce had a kick to it. And not much food on our plates. Disappointed…we won’t be returning. It was awkward and quiet and yea. Not for us.

The atmosphere was good. They had quiet music playing. The service was good and friendly. We received our dine-in food within 15 minutes of ordering. The sauce on my general Tso’s chicken was a little on the sweet side for me but it did have a kick to it. It was really crispy and I enjoyed it. They have hot tea here. We will go back here to eat.

This is like my third or fourth time here and it is always clean. The staff are friendly and the food always cooked on the spot to order. Be patient because again they are cooking it in the moment.
