This was a treat! We both love pizza but have never tried authentic deep dish before.

Stopped by to get something to eat while on a trip from Michigan down to Missouri, and we got one deep dish and one thin crust. It took a little while to come out, but when it did we were pleasantly surprised. For the thin crust, think Imo’s-style pizza, but actually good, haha – for the deep dish, it was above-average-Chicago-style. Overall, good for the price, and the service was efficient and chill. I would recommend this place for a nice sit-down or even for takeout, especially for just 1 or 2 people.

I’ve ordered from Nancy’s at least a dozen times. So far, it’s been the best pizza I’ve found in Springfield.

Very expensive. Family of 4, 3 different medium pizzas and a salad $125. First time trying Nancy’s, picked up for dinner. I’m pretty sure that Little Ceasars or Sam’s 2 would have been better and definitely cheaper. First and last time.

Wow!!!! Picked up a couple of pies for dinner after work. Got a super thin and a stuffed Chicago style. The super thin w as really good and the stuffed was the best I have had outside of Chicago. This place is definitely in contention for my favorite Pizza in Springfield!!!!!

Can’t go wrong with the Huckleberry cocktail, a Caesar salad (with bacon !), a deep dish pizza with flavor to pack a punch, and deliciously tasty cannolis with the perfect amount of sweet cream filling for dessert. Try it. You’ll love it.

i’ll go ahead and pair this location with the Litchfield location, as I had the same thing at both places. What the place alleges as pizza is pretty good. It has the hallmarks of a good prepared food item– nice acidity from the tomato sauce, savoriness from the excess of cheese, and a nice vessel in which to consume the mixture of pizza ingredients in. As I thought of this place as a restaurant specializing in bread bowl soups or lasagna more so than pizza, then I found the food presented before me as an excellent… whatever they called it. Not sure what actual “Chicago style pizza” is, but I imagine this is as authentic as you can get other than by physically being in Chicago.

***3/19*** So my husband has been working out of state three out of four weeks a month, and I’m disabled. I don’t care for driving alone, especially at night. I’ve recently called in a couple orders for delivery, and I’m aware I’m a fair distance from the restaurant! I tipped very generously and didn’t complain last time when my order wasn’t correct. I’ve been looking forward to Nancy’s all day today, and was informed they can’t deliver to me here near the downtown/medical district anymore. Huh!? That’s too bad! THANK GOODNESS there’s literally a dozen other great Italian restaurants that will deliver to me here, even if I have to wait a bit or pay extra. No biggie to me!

There’s one in Atlanta (haven’t been), but Chicago deep dish has been on the bucket list. Springfield is close enough to Chicago, and this pepperoni and banana pepper pizza was the best 50th birthday present ever!! 45 minute wait for the pizza, Buffalo waffle fries are excellent (the Nancy’s banana pepper are heavenly, perhaps they will sell me a bottle?), and the chocolate chip cookie baked in cast iron and covered with ice cream and chocolate syrup was better than any cake for a decadent 50 years birthday special. Thanks so much Nancy’s, for hosting us! We promise to come back and try your rustic and thin pizzas, too. 5 outta 5 all day!
