Went on Valentines Day, and it was obvious they were still trying to figure things out. The server was slow and seemed to be new to serving. The venue itself is a small room in an event center with inside and outside seating. Not really made for this, but they decorated it nicely for the occasion. They had red satin napkins, though, which were utterly useless.

The newest Fine dining restaurant in Polk County has opened. A Taste of Italy is located at the beautiful Balmoral resort. The restaurant is beautiful and the food tastes as good as it looks. Fantastic Valentine’s Day meal! The wait staff was super efficient and sooo friendly! We ordered the Bolognese and Shrimp Scampi. Both were so flavorful along with their tasty Caesar and Arugula Salad with house made salad dressings.For opening night we were very impressed. Everything went smoothly and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back! ❤️
