I do not recommend their birria taco. I ordered (1) due to dietary limitations. Was told I’d be charged extra for the onion, cilantro, and consume’. Overall my friends were satisfied with their orders and the presentation was good. If I’m looking for good birria this is not where I would go. Salsa and chips were great. Veggie fajitas looked phenomenal. Low stars due to my experience.

Everything fast , fresh , and great customer service ! To add it was a group of us and the waitress we had rocked it and had the best recommendations ! Even the left overs were good the next day ! I recommend the strawberry pina colada daiquiri, the shrimp guac, queso, the fajita chimichanga rice and beans! Everyone else I was with stated it was great !

The food is flavorless! My fajita had so much oil in it and the shrimp tasted foul! Also keep in my mind you cannot exchange your food or ask for a refund!! So I recommend that you take into consideration all the reviews and take a chance! It was lunchtime right before 3p and the service was slow and I waiter never came back to check on us. The margaritas are watery! Don’t waste your time if you’re looking for good flavorful food! I highly recommend Mi Pueblo’s in the University area! Everything there is delicious! This place seems to get worse and worse with each visit. I come back hoping for a better experience. Hasn’t happened yet! You’re only paying for the name!! Cost of the dishes is not worth it.

This place was cool! I took a star off because it was cold af in there but the decor and seating was top notch. Cesar was our server and took our order and brought out our drinks promptly but we never saw him again until it was time to pay the bill. The food came out fast and was hot and was delicious Except he never checked on us and I asked for and was charged for extra mushrooms and didn’t really have extra mushrooms all he could say was that he rang them up and that he did do. But it wasn’t no Thang I took that out of his tip because there weren’t any extra mushrooms on my plate… only the bill Otherwise, I would have given more stars for service and food I was just visiting Charlotte for the weekend and had a craving for Mexican. Everyone was really nice though. Just turn the ac down its April But Cesar could have been a little more attentive because he took our order he should have checked back after the food was delivered. All in all I’d definitely eat here again

We tried a new mexician place with friends today. The place itself is lovely. Very colorful and cheerful, despite the skull motif (which was excellent). The food was okay, I’d say a C+. Mexican chicken seems dry everywhere and this was no different. Lunch items seem to have meats premixed with peppers and onions, so we were back to full price items. They provided plenty of chip/salsa/tortillas. Flavor was light, but nothing was bad. I may try it again if I am in the area but wouldn’t travel to go there.

This is a great casual Mexican restaurant with great food, service, and fun atmosphere. I got the two item combo this time with a taco, enchilada, rice and beans. Delish!! Oh and the drinks!! Yum! Had a Pina colada in honor of a friend who recently passed and a house margherita. Both were fabulous, the Pina colada was delicious and almost as good as my friend would make them 😉

Spent the night in Charlotte, NC and Margarita’s was close to our hotel. Excellent chips and salsa. I had a beef burrito and taco, the spouse had a chicken chimichanga. Both were very good. The service was fine but overall the place was a little noisy. It was not busy so I would guess it could get really loud. Nice find overall.
