Enjoyed a delicious meal in a nice and relaxing ambiance. Big menu with many traditional dishes and some specialty dishes as well. Tasty libations available from the bar, which would be a good place to catch a sporting event on their TVs.

Nice restaurant with good food. The employees were happy and accommodating. My only issue is we were next door for ties and decided to walk over for an early lunch and they were not open as advertised and the sign in the window showed. We did return and had a good lunch..

Came in with my girlfriend to take food out with her family. Her family ended up taking the wrong order as the lady just gave them their receipt and put somebody’s else’s order infront of them. They accidentally took the wrong one and came back, and the ladies tried to blame them for taking the food infront of them instead of the food right next to the one infront of them. Most people would believe the bag you place infront would belong to them so I don’t see how her family is at fault. As we were waiting somebody broke something in the kitchen, which was enough to tell me the service this place had. Maybe it was a busy and stressful day, I don’t really care as long as my food is good. However, after the lady at the desk handed us our meal, she rudely says out loud “this is the right one” without looking directly at us. Well, she didn’t really hand it to us, she just placed it on the table and looked around the restaurant but us two. I guess she was rude towards us because we knew the people responsible for their accidental fiasco. It’s alright to make mistakes but blaming a simple misunderstanding on your customers is unprofessional and irresponsible. And as for the food, it was pretty decent at first, but it isn’t really anything great. I had ordered the nacho fries, and it was in a large amount to share between two people. I wouldn’t really recommend this place to others, but the food is good if you’re looking for a large amount of food and don’t really care about customer service.

I bought salsa and small bag of chips. The salsa taste funny. So i threw it away, and the Chips were old and hard. So i basically paid almost 10 dollars to throw it all in the garbage. It was such a disappointment. The waitress that help me was very rude as well on the phone when i placed my order and in person when I pick up the food. Will not be going here again.

The service was horrible and the waitress was rude. My food tasted bad. I left most of the food on my plate. I kindly spoke to the manager about my enchiladas which were cold and also that the green sauce tasted weird. The manager agreed that something was off with the green sauce. He said that he would take care of it for me. Well, he surely did! He took $3 off my $16.99 meal. I will never eat here again!

Such a disappointment! We were given chips along with tomato sauce and cilantro as salsa, it was disgusting. We asked for salsa picante and got what we expected to be salsa. I ordered the mole chicken enchiladas, first off my plate was nice and hot however the food was cold. Almost like it was sitting for a while. The cheese on the enchiladas wasn’t even melted completely. My rice was cold and so were my beans. My husband ordered an $18 shrimp cocktail, the glass was ice cold, however the juice along with the contents were warm. NOT THE WAY ANY COCKTAIL SHOULD BE SERVED! The chefs excuse was that it was made to order.. It was disgusting. All of the contents should have been ice cold and refreshing, not like it’s been sitting out for hours. We then ordered the street tacos in hopes of making up for the nasty cocktail and they came with one tortilla and an unsightly presentation. The only good thing about this restaurant was the soda. That was ice cold and not flat. If you are looking for a good place to enjoy Mexican cuisine, go to Dos Compadres in Modesto, Jessica’s Taco truck on 9th st in Modesto or some taco truck on crows landing road in Modesto. This place is an absolute rip off and we will NOT be going here again. Some places take advantage of their customers and they forget about what their actual business goals were. This restaurant caters to the white community with the bland no flavor menu rather than the authenticity that it originated from. So sad. The El Rosal on Coffee Road in Modesto is 100% better and worth the money.
