This is one of my family’s favorite places to get takeout in Rochester. The food is really tasty, the portions are huge. 2 plates of meat + rice feed my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and we typically have leftovers. My kids love the chicken legs but I prefer the chicken breast pieces. We tried the goat tonight too—it was tasty although pretty fatty.

Stopped here during a cross country drive – didn’t want to pass through Minnesota without trying some Somali food. Delicious, generous meals—we had the chicken and steak dishes with rice. Seating area is not much, but if you are coming for the food no matter – Ask for their sweet ginger tea with milk after — highly recommend this place!

The food is test extremely good only if you know what to order, the cashier will still your money if you are not an aware of that be caution, their price raises by $10 within 4 yrs they must fix that unless I’m not going there anymore

I used to love this store and restaurant.. until the male cashier stole $20 from me at the restaurant and denied it around last summer.. and then tonight when I was walking by in a crisis and got laughed at by the people hanging around outside.. I’m never supporting Muna Halal again or the grocery store for that matter.
