I stopped in here on my way home after a trip to Milledgeville…This buffet was some of the best southern food I have ever had. Everything was full of flavor and tasted like my grandma had made it. And such a wide variety of food, I couldn’t try it all. I went back for a second plate and couldn’t finish it because I was so full, but I tried so hard because it was so delicious. They really know what they are doing here. The staff was friendly and treats you like family. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste real southern cooking in a real southern atmosphere.

Friendly workers. Fresh/hot breakfast food. Pretty sure everything was made from scratch (tasted like it at least). Our whole family was very pleased. Stopped here while traveling to get a quick breakfast and get filled up. Successfully achieved both and was very pleased that the food quality was not compromised to achieve those too goals. We weren’t sure how well it would be when we first got there but quickly found it was a place we definitely would go out of our way to go back to again if we are ever traveling the area again. I had the steak and shrimp. It was amazing. I also did the soup from the sound bar. It was crab chowder loved it the food and atmosphere was amazing. This is one of the best local restaurants I have ever ate that the owners were so nice and treated us like we were at home waiting on us. Wonderful, desserts, great atmosphere an amazing food. I will definitely continue to support this business.

I actually didn’t really think too much of the place when i got recommended to try it. In fact i probably have been driving past it for most of my life. I’m glad that finally changed today. The aura was charming, the people were pleasant, and the food was a steal of a price for it’s value. Some of the best fried shrimp and steak I’ve had in a while, can’t wait to try the breakfast sometime!

I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere was very welcoming – with friendly service. The only reason I gave a 4* was that the food was a little more salty than I’m use to. But, overall, it is a great country place to dine.

This is a great place for home made, Country food. It is very cozy and has great ambiance. The family that owns this place are nice and very helpful. The food was amazing,and very tasty. I just wish they were open every morning. We worked at The Nuclear Plant HATCH down the Road. We come here every January . This place would be great place to stop for anything before or after work. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star is , they are not always open. If they were open daily and had morning time earlier and evening till 7 pm that would be awesome . I will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

If you don’t like some of the finest real homemade style groceries you can put in your mouth then keep driving there is a McDonald’s in town that can disappoint your taste buds. But if you wanna feel like a kid at mamaws table this is your place!!!
