This place was delicious. The guacamole and salsa tasted very good. This made me excited for the birria tacos and consommé. The tacos were the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time, and the consommé. I hope that my wife buries me with them when I die to ensure my future in the afterlife. Park on the street and dine inside to enjoy great food and very friendly service.

Great environment and very friendly staff, tried the birria tacos and they are 10/10. Would definitely try again!

After a very busy week, we took a quick, late lunch break and headed to Maria’s Cuisine in Old Town. I’ve been wanting to check out their new location. Of course, we ordered all the birria! The birria ramen was my favorite, although the tacos with consommé were amazing. I’ve been on a nachos kick, so we got the nachos too. Got some dessert to take home for tonight—tres leche cake and flan. The husband enjoyed them with his favorite local brew.

Went in here 8/1/23 and ordered take out (taco plate), horchata, flan. The food was good. Small portions and horchata was different than any I’d ever had. Service was quick and courteous enough. Picked up on some weird vibes, but staff may have just been tired or real busy. The mild green sauce is to die for, though. Very tasty! I may return. Not bad at all.

Ordered a breakfast burrito and it’s a lot of bean and potatoes and very little egg to the point where I didn’t think it was a breakfast burrito. I’ve ordered this same burrito many times before and it’s definitely not what I’m used to. I called in but there was no offer to remake it. Great customer service all the time and food is great so it’s a bit disappointing.

First time ordering and it will be my last. After $130 dollars in food for my family dinner, the food was beyond subpar, total fail. The barria tacos, dry brisket meat folded in an over cooked corn tortilla, with very little meat. Moving on to the beans and rice. The beans were a runny mess, the taste/flavor was disgusting . It’s like they watered down the beans to streach it to fit our order, pathetic. Just say “we’re almost out” or just say you don’t have it. Sacrificing quality for quantity. The rice was also overcooked and unappetizing. The torta was decent, nothing special but edible. We also ordered dessert, flan and tres leche cake. The flan was burned, how do you do this, seriously? I can’t see what people like about this place, the taco truck was probably good, but this was a complete miss. Especially for the price and quality of the food, I’d rather eat Supermercado La Estrellita or El Chaparrito, even taco bell at this point. This is not authentic Mexican food. Find another place to eat if you value your time and money.

I drove an hour just to try these tacos and I was in AWE at how amazing they were. Did a classic steak taco with onion and cilantro and my mouth was salivating. 10/10, would definitely come back.

Birra taco and birra quesadilla were decent enough, but nothing to write home about. Chorizo queso was good. Be prepared to pay for chips and salsa. Drinks were served in cans, and you pay for each one. Think “indoor food truck” vibes.
