Seriously love Jalapeño’s! It doesn’t matter if it is the Pontiac or Clarkston restaurant. The food is fantastic and the quality is unmatched. When a restaurant makes its own unique salsas, that tells me that what you’re getting is something fresh and that the owner prides themselves on delivering a delicious experience that doesn’t come from a cookie-cutter food service. The prices are very reasonable and I never walk away hungry. Get a large chicken nachos to go. It is so full it is served in a pizza box. It is a treat for my family and myself every time we order from there. The staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere is fun.

Server was nice but did not explain anything and disappeared other than to take our order and drop the food. Ordered a pitcher of margaritas for 2 of us in our group they said ok and bring out a tower. Now I’m thinking I don’t need much, but another in our table said they’d have one as well, and how bad could the price be right? We all poured our first glass and had our first drink and not a one of us liked the taste, you could tell it was weak and premixed. We finish our meals and after hunting down the server to finally get our bill and boxes we discover yo our shock that weak pre-mixed tower that mind you we didn’t order and couldn’t finish our first glass cost $85! We ask to speak to the manager after the server gave us the excuse that they don’t do pitchers so she assumed we wanted the tower without ever explaining that. Manager argues with us that there’s is nothing she can do once it’s been brought out, so even had we said something in the beginning they would have made us pay for it. I would not recommend this place for the fact they put what they want on your table and want you to pay for it. I asked for a copy of the bill and was refused. This place not worth your money.

Somebody dedicated to do takeout orders and doordash orders because the bartender is too busy to do it. And nobody enjoys being passed by a bunch of servers and not being asked if they have been helped. The food is always amazing and definitely worth the wait. I just feel their system for to go orders meds to be improved a lot.

We are Vegetarians and so chose this place as we were driving by. Found out there were very limited options. The rice also had Chicken stock. Our dish came with a side of rice and beans but I asked them to substitute guacamole instead of rice but they said it’s etc charge. I also asked them for a spicy salsa for chips and they didn’t even let us know it’s $1.50 etc. I would probably choose another place to eat next time.

I usually only write a review if I have something positive to say. But, the price we paid for 2 burritos was ridiculous. We went to the one on Sashabaw for the first time last Friday. We were in a bit of a rush and let the waitress know. She was good about it and expeditious. The food was decent, but the lighting was terrible… very dim with changing colors (great for a date/terrible for clear legibility on the run), to the point that reading the menu, clearly, was not an option. Ended up paying 40 bucks for 2 burritos. What were thought to be 2’s on the menu turned out to be 7’s, between a slight shade difference in the background color and the print color of the menu and the very dim lighting.
