Great new addition to Dunedin! Staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. The very young waitress seemed inexperienced and a little overwhelmed but everyone has to start somewhere! We we’re patient and gave her a lot of grace. The general manager was wonderful and stepped in to assist as needed.

I went to this restaurant during happy hour. They have good deals on food and drink during this time, up to 7 PM. The A/C was working, but not at full blast. Despite that, there were a lot of people in the restaurant, and it was pretty busy, which I think is a good sign. You’d think the food must be pretty good for people to brave the semi-warm. I had the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. I tried it without the sauce first, and I wasn’t impressed and instantly thought it wasn’t as good as the PF Chang version. But then I tried it with the dark sauce and it was really good. It also came with a spicy mustardy sauce, which gave it extra flavor and a kick. I had the KFC roll, which was okay, and my friend had some kind of dynamite or firecracker roll, which she said was okay/good. The house margaritas were definitely yummy. Despite the heat, the server (PJ?) was upbeat as well the staff (all staff seemed very nice), and when I accidentally left my credit card behind, they were on top of it and had it secured away which I appreciated. They also have a section for kids on the menu, so they are kid and family friendly, which is a plus.

Not sure where to begin. We got there and immediately realized it was very warm. Looked at the thermostat and it read 82 degrees. Not what you want when you are already exposed to the dead heat of summer in Florida. Now to the service. We sat at the bar so we were right in the vision of the bartender. We waited for about 10 minutes to just get menus. Which they only had one for us to share. We were there during happy hour where the sushi was only $5.00. The drinks were just as much. After about 15 minutes we were actually asked what we wanted to drink. The food was good nothing to write home about. The sushi chefs were working their tails off. I will say they did a great job. We ordered a to go order, waited about 45 minutes for it to come out. We got the bill and it was not correct. After all was said and done, we will not be returning.

Food was okay considering it’s a new spot, more than willing to accommodate for newness but reality is that the salmon was gray and we were not given our soup or salad with our to go order and advised we would have to come pick it back up if we would like it. As a Dunedin local, I would love to support this place, but I cannot in good faith say that they would get my business again based on this experience so far. Hope things look better down the line!

Wow easy on the one star review when a place has been open 1 WEEK! Do consumers understand how long it takes a business to recover on reviews for their harsh power of the review process. With that…we believe in owners Helen and Tong and wish them the GREATEST success. Those of us who have lived in the area since the 70’s have seen many businesses come and go from this location but they have it clean, decorated in an inviting ambiance, and if you eat before 7 pm you will not find better sushi prices with this good quality. Drink up! Call ahead to make sure the a/c is working adequately as this was their biggest issue in the first couple weeks of operation. Remember it’s 2023 with a record high heat wave. Give Kome a chance and read the reviews after August of 2023 before you make your decision. The world has a few mean people left in it. Cheers We WILL BE BACK ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

My S/O and I found this new spot via Instagram. We went out on a whim and had the best experience!! Very innovative cocktail special menu, definitely should go try the “lavender fields”. The sushi selection was very vast, some items I have never seen anywhere else. Make sure to ask for Valerie ! She was truly the cherry on top of the whole thing!

Not the best quality sushi. Very few rolls that are not cooked. The sashimi appetizer had crab sticks and a salmon that looked like it was recently defrosted and had zero fat in it. Staff was friendly.
