What a cute place. Pac-Man and a large chalkboard keep little ones busy. A walk down memory lane for the elders. Cuban and cheese sandwiches were tasty. Will have to stop by just for the ice cream treats another time. Cook, suspected owner, looked like he stepped out of the 80’s and was passionate about the food. Even took a moment to show my Grandson how to maneuver the games. Grandson thought the bathroom stickers were cool.

This place was a blast in the past…80’s themed. I loved it! We had the Cuban sandwich and could only eat half. Also the pulled pork sandwich which was amazing! The potato salad was made to perfection using the little red potatoes. Yum. The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend giving this place a try

Very impressed by the folks running this. They are food lovers and love what they are doing. Very friendly small business (for now) owners. They are foodies who change up the menu based on customer input. Meats smoked right there. Fresh ice cream. I highly recommend you stopping in.

2nd time vist…this time we had the grilled peanut butter banana sandwich, the spicy Thai chicken, black bean corn tomato salad and a Boba. My first. I opted for the Thai tea to go with my chicken. Yummy! Hubby took grilled cheesecake to go. We were happy to see it busy too. It’s a very friendly family run business. With great 80’s tunes and video games!

Upon first glance you will probably pass by and be unaware of the old school experience you’re missing out on. This diner is a absolute MUST for any trip or even a daily commute. For the same price you’d get a meal at a fast food joint(if they can get your order right) you can spend that same amount for two people here at Mossy head diner. The atmosphere is like that of a family owned diner with Jay being the most friendly & thoughtful owner that you just can’t get anywhere else. The staff Kyle, Gwen,Jade & Mandy are all super helpful with making sure the order is placed right and that any questions get resolved with such genuine kindness and understanding. If you are even doubting on going coming by then you’ll be missing out because they smoke all their foods and have options for any time of day. I make this stop as my lunch/dinner and am always satisfied with little wait time in comparison to the long lines at other chains nearby. I’d love to see this business grow to more locations or even become a full scale restaurant franchise here in Mossy head. If I haven’t convinced you yet then you’re only doing yourself a disservice by choosing anything else!! They are sure to be the best spot for dinner dates and treating the family to a relaxed environment where you can enjoy fresh food and great music.

Food was excellent. Had smoked chicken sandwich. There was a very good amount of chicken on a soft bun. They served it with some awesome sauce but the sandwich didn’t even need it. Will definitely visit again!
