We ate here on college visit day . At 11 people were waiting outside to get in and we decided to come back and our wait time was reasonable considering the high volume of people on site that day . Time to order and time to food on the table was also very reasonable too . Sweet tea is good . I wish they wouid have had a broth based soup as choice the day we visited it was tomato, broccoli, and another cream based . Everyone’s order was correct and food tasted good

Hour long lines because you’re horribly understaffed. Pro-tip: there isn’t a “labor shortage;” there’s a “paying-for-labor” shortage and the horrible state of this establishment shows that McAlister’s is a stingy company that refuses to pay what their workers deserve.

My boyfriend and I came in today and we were unhappy about the customer service, especially me. We came in and there was 3 workers on the floor just sitting around and on their phones and while we were waiting because one person was ordering food no one else behind the counter thought to go to a screen and help us place our order. We stood there for a few minutes waiting. It was not busy whatso ever. I used to be a server and from what I experienced today, I’m not coming back. It’s said to say that because I am not the one to make comments like these and I NEVER leave a review about a restaurant. And for anyone wondering what location I am talking about it is Normal, IL

The wait staff was great, the food was great, the manager was super rude though. We were being friendly from the person we were ordering from and the manager walks over and makes it seem like a crime to be talking from the person we ordered from. I would understand if there was a line behind us, but there was no one. What a rude man!

Service was extremely slow and disorganized. Between the line and the wait on food it took 45 minutes to get a basic sandwich. They had 1 person taking orders when the line was long, and then once the line cleared they had five employees standing around and chitchatting. I left feedback online and never heard anything back, so not only was the in store service lacking but so is corporate. Food is good but extremely overpriced for what you get.

I’m an ISU student and go here atleast 3 times a week. I get a lot of flex dollars with my meal plan so I got to spend it somewhere. Smokey pepper jack turkey with a chocolate chip cookie. My only problems is that they’re only open on weekdays, open at 11am, and they spell my name wrong 90% of the time. But the sandwiches are far above what Watty has so this place will probably be seeing me until I graduate.

Attempted.to wnter and dine with my sis and our kids (2) we are AA. The sign clearly read 10 pm close it was 840. We were asked to not come in bc the place qas close until 9/4 it was 8,/31. After dining elsewher we passed by returning to our residence only to see people dining in and people in the drive thru. On Sat the same sight was witnessed. Dining Patrons as well as drive thru patrons. I took it personal. I believe it was a singular decision made by a singular person who was racist and did not want to serve a small group of people of color. I dont believe the company is racist but they DO HIRE PEOPLE QHO ARE AND DONT MIND REPRESENTING THE COMPANY. DONT PATRONIZE THE ONE IN BLOOMINGTON ILLINOIS
