Took a couple of co-workers here a week and a half ago for lunch to try it out. None of us had been, but all of us love BBQ. We were not disappointed. Milt’s has been open since February, but it’s a little bit out of sight off Pat Booker across from a lot of other restaurants in and around the shopping center with Regal Cinemas and Ashley Furniture. It is totally worth trying. My sandwich (sliced brisket/jalapeno cheddar sausage) was outstanding and their sauce is superb. The buns were super-tasty and I think it’s the first time I’ve had sliced sausage that was easy to chew through the skin. Plus, they have a real range of great side items, not just the standards you find everywhere.

The brisket sandwich was great! I was even more blown away by how good the pepper jack macaroni and cheese was. Something unique and delicious vs. other BBQ places with the same old Mac n cheese flavor. Will definitely visit again!

I’ve eaten here twice and the brisket (I take mine moist/fatty) was consistently good, better than Rudy’s. The coleslaw is creamy, I prefer a vinegar coleslaw (the ONLY dish Bill Miller’s gets right!) The Pork Belly Brussels are absolutely AMAZING! I could eat just those although they taste SO good they can’t be healthy. The pinto beans have a really good flavor, most places don’t seem to put much thought (or spices) into their beans.

Brisket portion was meaty tasty too.. The turkey was nice an juicy.. The family had sausage sandwich an brisket sandwich overall was a pretty good meaty spot.. They have a variety of drafts an pop soda.. Lemons for the water.. Definitely will be comin back..

I don’t typically leave bad reviews — my reviews are normally all good, but something has to be said.

The brisket on my sandwich was very good and the sandwich was loaded. It was kind of annoying that I asked for no sauce and they sauced the top and bottom bun. The jalapeño cheese sausage wasn’t great and probably won’t get it again. I liked the Mac and Cheese. I would’ve bought Pepsi it in stock, I don’t care for the stubborn products.

I have been waiting for them to move down to their Live oak location for several months. They’ve been open for about a week. I didn’t know about it until I was passing by on the way to the bank. Conveniently located on Pat Booker Road in Live Oak. It’s a great place for this spot. Nice atmosphere, plenty of indoor outdoor seating. Good food options. With reasonable prices. I had the brisket sandwich with peppercorn macaroni and cheese and a sweet tea. Everything tasted very good. By the pound by the plate by the sandwich can’t go wrong with this new barbecue location of the Northeast side of San Antonio. Definitely not going to regret trying there. They also have seven or eight beer taps on the wall with different ipas. Please give it a try it’s worth

The food was so good, I forgot to take pictures before I dug into my food. Meat is so soft and tender and full of good flavor. I completely recommend this place.
