Solid 4.5/5. The service was top notch and really fast. We had our food around 10 minutes after ordering. The server recommend 3-4 dishes for 2 people (we ordered 2 mains and an a la cart, and still had leftovers). We ordered pork sisig and fried joy chicken. Both dishes were excellent but I personally enjoyed the pork sisig more – 5/5. It’s a pan seared pork belly dish so if you are sensitive to the fatty texture, it’s just something to be aware of. The fattier parts are still very tender. The fried chicken was very tasty and so was the gravy -4/5. Garlic rice was a good side dish – 5/5. We also tried the tamarind soda. It had a light refreshing flavor – 4/5. Last, (even though we were full) we ordered some dessert. I can’t quite recall the name but it was fried rice balls with Jack fruit in them with a caramel-honey like dipping sauce and they were not very sweet but delicious – 4.7/5

Musang is a gem, great drinks and a vibrant vibe once inside. Technically, their food is well cooked and has all the components of a great night out. There were a few misses here that made the dishes and it harder to enjoy. The braised short rib was cooked to perfection, but the gravy served with it was next level heavy and super thick. It was an uncomfortable viscousity. The pork belly, which is hard not to enjoy, had great flavors but wasn’t cooked to a crisp. The combination of thick heavy gravy and chewy under cooked fats left me a bit queasy. It had all the makings of a great meal, but a few small things added up to make it largely inedible which was disappointing given the reputation of the restaurant. The noodles were rockstar level tasty. I’d recommend musang for night out with your foodie friends, a special occasion or date, or those looking to try something special and new. Regardless of my experience, I’m glad I got to eat here, and look forward to trying more here. Do make a reservation if you arent a fan of waiting.

Had a great time with family and friends at this friendly spot. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first but I love their new and creative take on Filipino food. I heard their menu changes but my favorite had to be the sinuglaw in their small plates. The short rib kare kare is also a solid choice for a main dish. Make sure to give their delightful drinks a try. I really loved the corn bibingka and karioka for dessert. I’m glad we have future reservations because I would definitely go back.

We were excited to try this place, but as suspected, it was another restaurant in Seattle where the flavor did not meet the price point. (Disclaimer – I am pesc so meat based dish reviews are feedback from party)

Musang is phenomenal. Sitting at the bar was great, the bartender is extremely knowledgable and fun to talk to. They grew up in the Philippines and we’re able to talk about when dishes are traditionally eaten, as well as some of the different ingredients they use. The food was delicious! The drinks were fantastically creative and well balanced, and the rum they have from the Philippines was fantastic. It’s definitely expensive, but the experience is more than worth the price.

We finally made it to the highly regarded, difficult to book Musang! Definitely should reserve online early in advance and commit.

It was our first time experiencing the restaurant. It was great. Everything we ordered tasted great and the cocktails are spectacular. There are lots of people, but they try to be as attentive as possible. We dropped a spoon and they immediately brought another one. Good place!
