Everything was great! The food, service, and atmosphere. We got a spicy tuna, red dragon, emerald, and spider man roll. Our fave was their emerald! Can’t wait to go back and try the spicy shrimp ramen I was eyeing that as well but was too full!

Great food, service is A+, and I enjoyed the piano music. Very relaxing while we enjoyed our food. It was packed with flavor and lots of toppings the spicy shrimp ramen was just right, not too spicy, but packed a flavor bomb. The triple pork was delicious and truly unexpected nothing like it in Grand Forks. It was my first time here and won’t be the last. Great Japanese and other Asian goodies.

We went in about 5:20, and got seated right away. They gave us plenty of time to look at the menus, and then took our order promptly. Food came out pretty quickly, Although our main dish came out before the appetizer. The Ramen was very good the broth was very flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I think they mixed up my order, because my spicy miso was not at all spicy, and the broth was different from the picture. But to be honest I didn’t care, it was so delicious. Our water was kept refilled. And the check came very shortly after I was done eating, the server kept a decent watch without hovering. Overall it was an excellent experience. I will definitely be back.

Great restaurant! We ordered a Philadelphia roll, the Gyudon, and Shoyu ramen. The Gyudon comes with dashi and a raw yolk (the yolk is in a separate bowl so you can remove it if thats outside your comfort zone). You don’t see that in the Japanese restaurants in the Midwest. I was happy. The Shoyu ramen was excellent. Loaded with flavor. The egg had been marinated in shoyu and mirin for three days as it should be. I was very impressed. The servers were polite and the service was much faster than I expected. We will be regulars at Kaizen.

We ate yesterday with two of our kids. Everything we ordered was good. I do agree with other reviews that said the sweetness of some dishes surprised them. We would agree that 2 of our 4 dishes were sweeter than what we were expecting but still very good. We had 2 different ramen and 2 of their noodle/rice dishes.

I literally can’t say enough good about this place! Such kind and respectful staff-some of the best customer service and waiting environment I have ever witnessed. The food especially the sushi and apps are 15/10, can’t wait to go back! To add, the food was so good it kept me up at night thinking about it and how I couldn’t wait to go back again

Every bite of food here was delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Food came out quickly and table service was excellent. My only minor complaint (and it’s VERY minor) was the music selection – they had “elevator music” style smooth jazz playing, which is fine on its own, but for some reason it was mostly Christmas music. Maybe they just didn’t recognize the cultural relevance of western Christmas classics

My sister and I have been wanting to come here ever since we heard it was opening. My sister had the beef bulgogi with rice and it was delicious. I had the Shoyu Ramen and it wasn’t what I was expecting. It said it was a soy Ramen base, so I expected it to be a little salty, but it was sweet. My sister tasted it and said it was ok, but to me it was a little overly sweet. We will definitely be coming again, but I will order something other than the Shoyu Ramen.
