Ms.Shelby’s food is literally for the soul. The food itself is so delicious and seasoned to perfection it made my eyes roll. The atmosphere and food truck is very clean which is key for food prep. Your food is prepared fresh and that is always worth the wait, which wasn’t long at all. Lastly the owner Ms.Shelby is so sweet and caring, she came to my car to check if I needed anything. Subpar customer service. If you want to be treated kindly and fed well come here! Your cheating yourself going anywhere else for Soul Food . This is it!

First timers here and we are NOT disappointed. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We ordered the chicken and waffles and Shelby’s Signature Burger. I’ve never had such juicy flavorful wings before. The burger was HUGE! All our meals were VERY filling. I couldn’t even finish all my food. You definitely get your moneys worth! They’re really nice too! And try their Shelby Palmer if you get the chance!

Visiting from out of town (VA) so this was my first time here, The catfish fillets were big and the cornmeal was well seasoned. I also order wings that were delicious and perfectly season and fried to perfection!!! Collards were obviously fresh, not seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese was phoenminal as well and covered in cheese. I will definitely be back to try other entrées on the menu!

Went to try this place out and I’m highly disappointed. I got the Catfish plate with collard greens and Mac and Cheese. Because Mac and Cheese is my favorite, the first thing I asked “was it baked”. They told me yes. I get my food and the Mac and Cheese is runny and doesn’t look appealing at all. I taste it and it taste like some fake cheese or cheese wiz was used. Had a funny taste. The collard greens were dry, not seasoned and tasted straight from the can. For 20 dollars I am highly disappointed and had throw most of my food away. The only thing that was decent was the fish. I should have just went to my regular soul food place instead of trying something new. 20 dollars down the drain

If you’re in the Killeen area you have to stop by Shelby’s Food Truck. Her food is super delicious and always fresh. Ashley is friendly, provides excellent customer service and loves all her customers. My favorite thing on the menu is her amazing Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls it’s to die for but her Mac & Cheese and fried chicken is by far the best in Killeen. Oh and don’t forget her Strawberry Kiwi Lemonade so good it’s better than Kool-aid.

Everything was good. There is a wait bc they make it on the spot. I prefer that bc it’s hot. I ordered sweet potatoes but they were out, I was lil disappointed in that but I understand. She was very very busy(good thing). The Mac and cheese was better than most places I have been to in Killeen but the pasta was a lil stiffer than I like but it was still good and cheesy. The greens wasn’t our favorite but the Cabbage, cornbread and fried chicken was BOMB!! I ordered again the next day and considering ordering again as I’m writing.

I recently moved here from New Orleans and have been looking for a place to eat that would help my taste buds get acclimated to the different food culture here. I saw the menu online and thought I’d give it a try. I ordered 2 fried fish filets, mac n cheese and yams. The fish tasted like it was fried in old grease, the Mac n cheese didn’t have any flavor. I couldn’t taste the cheese at all, just milk. The yams were really good but not what I expected. They tasted like sweet potato pie. I also had banana pudding. It was underwhelming. The pudding tasted very processed and the cookie to pudding ratio was off. May as well call it a pudding cup. I also ordered 5 wings and fries. The wings were abnormally huge. Never seen a wing drumette that big. The fries were as any fry would be. The food was hot and well packaged upon pick up. Can’t really speak on the cx service as this was just a pickup order. This place was a bit pricey for the quality of the food being served. I would not recommend this spot.

Food is of poor quality for the prices charged. Due to the cheap quality of ingredients used, I would not recommend this food truck. The order took over 45 minutes. I should’ve asked before ordering, but it is also nice when establishments can give you an approximate time estimate before you order, especially when they are busy. However, wait time can be worth it if the food is good. Unfortunately, the food was over-priced for the low quality of ingredients used. The collard greens were from a can, Cheez Whiz was the base used in the Mac and Cheese, the burger meat was undercooked, and the french fries were cooked in a low-grade oil leaving a heavy unfiltered aftertaste. I was disappointed that I tipped before I received the food.
