Driving down the highway, I would never consider stopping here. It’s small, tucked away, and frankly I’d probably miss it. That being said, the two sandwiches I ordered from Marlene’s were AMAZING! The first one was so good, I had to go back for another while I was still in town. So many breakfast sandwiches are never better than “OK”. Either they’re not hot enough or the flavor is so-so… just a plain breakfast sadwich. My orders from Marlene’s (their #8 the steak and eggs bagel and #3 the caprese) were THE BEST breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Full of flavor, hot enough to burn your mouth (giving me time to drive home before enjoying a still hot croissant), everything about a good meal in one delicious breakfast sandwich. They’re 10 out of 10.

BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD! And I eat a lot of breakfast! This place has an amazing homey ambiance and they provide great service and options. The tots were already gone before I took photos, also had a caramel iced latte. Highly recommend if you’re in Tampa!

Yea I’m just gonna say it – I understand the HYPE around this place! Got the #3 (w/out egg) and it was absolute fire! Little brother had the caprese sandwich and also enjoyed it very much. We will be back – love that there’s a rewards card too.

Stumbled upon this amazing food truck last year 09/2022 and when we came back for a trip I had to recommend it! Completely original breakfast sandwich options and every one I’ve tried is just as good if not better than the last! If you’re in the Tampa area and want a great breakfast then you’ve got to make your way here! You can also order ahead if you don’t feel like waiting in the sun!

This was a really great find! The guys were super nice. The food was hot, fresh, and hit the spot. Marlene’s sandwich had a lot of flavor. Prices are reasonable .The only downfall is the flies outside, not sure how to combat that. I definitely would recommend and will be back to try more.
