I had the Krab Rolls, shrimp deviled eggs and a Po Boy. The rolls were delicious with claw crab meat (I think) stuffed in a roll with a sweet flavory sauce that complimented the crab flavor. The deviled eggs were sweet with a nice sized shrimp which also was a nice blended flavor.

I am one that don’t leave reviews but this experience was not great. I ordered the seafood tacos and an order of Cajun fries. The container with the tacos had so much grease seeping from them and settled to the bottom of the container. The fries were dark and gummy to texture, as if they were cooked in old oil.

We got take out from the brick and mortar restaurant. The boil bag, which wasn’t in a bag, was not only missing the sausage but was swimming in grease. The crab legs were either old or had previously been frozen. They had no flavor, crumbled when yu finally got them out of the shell and most of the clusters were missing legs. The deviled eggs were also swimming in grease. The crab balls were all filler with no evidence of having any crab in it. The crab egg roll was soft and mushy with very little crab in it. This was the worst seafood I have ever had and a huge waste of money.

So good! Don’t be confused, While this location and name Keepin it Krabby may be new, the food and people behind it aren’t. It was formally the Krab Joint, which had a downtown location (closed) then moved to food truck model (a staple at the local festivals, and doing good as just got a new truck) and they finally made it back to a brick and mortar store, and updated their name in the process. But it’s the same great food and people behind it all! A real jem to the community, and watching the journey of the owner hustling his way through The culinary world and well Hagerstown and east coast has been a great thing to follow over the years in their Facebook page.
