Overall probably a strong 3 stars. We had “green enchilada dinner and grilled chicken salad”. The rice and beans were standard Mexican fare. Meaning they were good and served at an appropriate temperature. The green enchiladas were marked as spicy on the menu and they were the right heat. The salad was good husband says probably a 3.5. We had coors light and a margarita. Both were good and cold. Chips and salsa were good and salsa was served with separate stoneware pots for individuals.we were greeted immediately when we walked in and seated almost immediately. It was 9:00pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was very noisy. There is an upstairs that was probably quieter but we did not go up there. A lot of attention was given to cleaning tables and chairs between customers. This is a nice Mexican restaurant in a small town. Residents would do well to give it lots of business. We will visit again.

We’ve had one absolutely great experience here and one not as good experience. The food has always been good. The service the 1st time was excellent, but the second time our server kept disappearing. Other servers and waitresses had to take over our table service. 50% is not a passing grade but I will definitely keep going here because I bet the server problem remedies itself.

I love Mexican food. This wasn’t my favorite. I went in hoping to order chili rellenos. They have a 4 page menu but those weren’t on it. I also like spicy food. On the first page only one item at one star spicy. I only found a couple 3 stars and 2 stars. I ended up ordering the 1 star and it was slightly spicy. In other words my friends who don’t like spicy food would be fine with it. The refried beans that came with my meal were very bland. We waited forever to get our check and finally went to the register and our server then came running. The atmosphere was good and good was acceptable. I won’t go back.

Found this little gem on a google search traveling on 80 east. I am glad we took the 7 min drive off the highway to this cute little town. Chips and salsa was yum.. get the hot because it has great heat. We came during happy hour so the house margarita was on special! I am a tamale fan and these were very good pork with a hamburger sprinkled on top of the red sauce topping. Authentic Mexican home cooking and friendly service.
