Had the shaggy dog roll and the shrimp fried rice. Both were very good. Prices are on the high end, but feel that they are worth it for the quality of food that was served. The amount of fried rice you get is huge.

Went here to try it while on vacation. Was pretty good sushi. When you order, you have to go to the register and pay, and then wait for your food. We order about $80 worth of sushi. We were told it would be about a 45-minute wait and as stuff was made, he would bring it to the table. All the food was good and presented well. We ordered edamame and gyoza for appetizers. Both were good but the edamame had table salt instead of sea salt. For our rolls, we ordered the damn good roll, Texas toothpick, Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna roll, eel roll, and tiger eye roll. All were good but we did not care for the Texas toothpick roll. Way too much chili paste.

Although I’m not big into Sushi, my entrée took WAY too long to come out. Nearly 30 minutes. Staff was friendly but that’s about the only positive I can give. I gave it a try but just wasn’t a fan.

After seeing the great pictures of the fresh fish, we just had to visit and experience it. It is a real hidden gem, and worth the 30 minute drive. Staff is friendly in an authentic Texas way. As for the food, I loved the large slabs of sashimi, fresh and tender, simply perfect. The rolls were well made and held together nicely as we dipped them. We’ll be back to try more of their rolls. Sorry for the lack of photos, the food looked so appetizing when it arrived that we attacked it like starving piranhas, and didn’t think of y’all. As for price, I know a few people have mentioned it seems high; however, we thought it was quite fair for the quality.

My Favorite places to dine are small business owned restaurants instead of Chain restaurants and Pier Sushi is another reason why!! Family owned restaurant whose primary focus is quality & providing exceptional service!! Very fresh Sashimi Sushi served at the perfect chilled temperature. Great variety of well known & new Rolls to choose from! I’m very interested in their Pier Bowls next time we go back. Liquor license is in the works but you are welcomed to BYOB!! Very affordable & good variety menu! Very customer focused Husband & wife locally owned Restaurant!
