Great counter service Hawaiian bbq joint! Katsu sauce has an amazing flavor. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. I’ll be going back and recommending friends and family.

So glad to stumble upon Today Hawaii BBQ! Spam musubi was super delicious!! I ate two of them immediately and they are great warm (I have two more saved for tomorrow so I hope I can warm them up). Wasn’t too fond of the manapua so I would just load up on more musubi in the future. The grilled garlic shrimp was very tasty, as was the BBQ combo – I opted for 2 combo platter of chicken and pork, which included a small side salad and macaroni salad. I went to pick up for takeout, it’s a small very casual spot so only a couple of people were dining in but there were lots of other takeout orders. Overall very happy to stumble on this spot!

I was stationed at Pearl Harbor for 4 years, and Hawaii is in my blood now. I’ve been back several times since getting out. And Hawaiian plate lunch is a family favorite.

Wow, this was absolutely God awful. I don’t even know what it was I was supposed to be eating. I got chicken Katsu and the chicken was so bad. idk what it was but it was disgusting. Texture, taste, no no. The sauce was also pretty gross, really sweet with a weird after taste. Macaroni salad was bland and tasteless. For all the amazing reviews this place had, I was really surprised by how awful it actually was. I brought home the entire plate basically to my husband because I could not eat it, and the human garbage disposal couldn’t eat it either! Would not recommend.

Best Hawaiian food on the mainland. The kalua pork, loco moco, and spam musubi are legit! We will be back.

Really good food, lots of local options, servings are quite generous, will absolutely return. Many things left to try. Teri beef, and pork marsh were the favourites of what we grabbed. One of the few Hawaiian food places in Colorado serve some of their options, manapua being a prime example. Small space, busy enough though.

So mad at myself for not trying this place sooner. It was absolutely delicious. Good prices for decently sized portions. All of it was fresh and my kids tried a little bit of everything but they loved it too, which is great since they’re picky eaters. Looking forward to the next time.

Delicious and quick, friendly service! Kalua pork is a must have. Juicy, tasty, satisfying… All the BBQ meats are tender and flavorful, and in my opinion, the chicken was the best.

To be honest this was the worst most overdone Loco Moco I’ve ever eaten. The rice was a little hard due to being in the warmer to long. My buddy had the Chicken Katsu and said we would probably rate it a 2.5 compared to other Hawaiian BBQ we’ve had. The Mac Salad however was the best thing we ate and we would go back for seconds on that. Won’t be going back to this one.

Great local family-owned small restaurant feel with a dash of Hawaiian/Asian cultures. The food was unique, flavorful and fresh with ample portions. The service was helpful, kind, and hand delivered the food prepackaged to go to the table. Definitely a highlight of Thorton’s local restaurants.
