This place is so underrated! I have stopped in on numerous occasions for lunch during the weekday, and it is pretty empty. It may be because it’s kinda hidden in the basement of the building and off the riverwalk, not an easy to locate place.

Found parking near the Riverside, then needed to find a quick meal. I spied an OPEN flag where John Hawks Pub had been located. We navigated the steps down to the door. No line. Immediate service. Chose our pasta, sauce, protein, toppings, drinks, and a table. Moderately priced! Our pasta dinner was excellent, sauce delicious, and served hot with a piece of garlic bread. Salads, wine, and beer are available. Perfect location for a pre-show dinner! And, they stamped my parking lot ticket!!

My girlfriend and I were in town all the way from Chicago. We were staying at the Hyatt and when we asked the gift shop worker if there were any restaurants nearby that she would recommend, she mentioned this place. It was about a 10 minute walk there.

Got delivery, but I felt that I didn’t get nearly enough food for what I paid ($26 USD). The attached photo is what I saw when I opened the box – the bread takes up so much space that could have been filled with pasta. When ordering online, there is no text that indicates that bread will be included.

Hidden gem, great food, friendly service. Can’t wait to come back in summer and eat on patio. Garlic bread was amazing. Tastes just like a fancy $30 pasta dish at nice sit down restaurant. Big space plenty of room and food comes out quickly. Will be back!

Legit best pasta place in Milwaukee. Tua Pasta is a hidden gem that is right on the river. They have amazing pasta that you get to completely customize. You get to pick the type of pasta, add protein, pick 5 toppings, and a sauce. Then they make it right in front of you! It’s such a cool place. When it’s nice out, you can eat outside too which is very pleasant. To top it all off, they make homemade gelato from scratch right in front of you as well! They will even put alcohol in it if you wish. The staff is super friendly and the inside is always clean. I cannot recommend this place enough, please go support it.
