Looked up and went here to reminisce the sandwiches from ~25 years ago as a student and heard from him they still taste as good as before!! It’s just today the Roma tomato sandwich was not available. Fast and friendly service. Good/flexible options for vegetarians, I loved the spinach/broccoli one, will add jalapeño or some spicy sauce next time. The breads are softer than the other sandwich places which worked out well for our picky eater.

The food was not that great. Super bland, needed more seasonings or even a pinch of more salt. But what really made the experience even worse was the cashier who was taking my order. She definitely doesn’t have any customer service skills. She took down my order wrong, and she had such a terrible attitude. I would have tried going back one more time to see if maybe something else might be better, but she definitely makes me not want to go back there. Also, why do fries come with the sandwich if you sit down and dine in, but fries aren’t included if you order it as takeout? That makes no sense. However, you should hire better help that’s friendly, smiles, and knows how to actually take down orders.

Sandwiches are fine to pretty good. But unreliable. Ordered a simple turkey sandwich with lettuce tomato olives and cheese and drove all the way home. Unwrapping it there was no lettuce no olives. Gave them a call and they told me they’d refund the sandwich if I drove back and proved to them there was no lettuce.

We really love Uncle Sams cheesesteaks and today we were really craving this. I called 6 times and nobody picked up, so I drove to the restaurant and they were closed. Online it says that they are open on Sundays until 6. The last time I tried to get food from here, they were closing soon also, even though their online hours said they were still open for several more hours. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS ON YOUR ONLINE SITES!!

Quick turnaround on orders. They now take credit cards!!! Different sub options for veg heads a plus. About 25% of our takeout orders have been screwed up (missing an item, incorrect sub) and also the food is so yummy it doesn’t keep us from ordering.

I showed up at around 5 after 8 for the second day in a row. I recommend uncle sams to everyone who likes cheese steak that I know. And for the second day they were closed. Even though the business hours say 930. I am beyond furious and over this establishment. The doors were open. So I walked in and withdrew money (because they only except cash) and then was told they were closed at 810. I’m in the industry and have never ever been more upset with a company before

Our favorite local spot. Good view of the Forbes Murray crossing. My husband and I go there frequently in the evenings and enjoy looking at the happening Forbes through the window. We love their subs, especially the Uncle Sam Ultra. If you eat in store, it’ll come with fries. However, if you order a take out, you’ll miss their fries and sometimes they mention it and sometimes they don’t. It made us really disappointed once as we love their fries. Good spot to bring relatives and friends who visit you to give them local flavor. We never disappoint our visitors when we bring them here.
